The thing with niven is we believed in him , its called acting, and a terrific charleton he was , if you watched any of his interviews he's still storytelling and seldom slips out of character, that said born in 1910 we never never saw the real man despite him telling us so much of his life and experiences , a true ACTOR, and he pulled it off with such Gentlemanly savoir faire

I recall the name from childhood but very little else about Tusi Tala , other than she was from Samoa .
Hopefully this adaptation , is a truer version than some others .
