To everyone who is replying with bad replies, the scouts teaches kids the values and skills they will need later in life. If you have kids, let me ask you this, what are your kids doing in their free time? Most are playing video games or locked to a phone. Boy scouts also play video games, just not as much. They are making friends, camping, and helping out the comunity. Inseatd of bitching, do something positinve for a change.
I was a Life Scout before I decided to GET A LIFE! I had a Scoutmaster who used to put his hands on kids. Kids kept their mouths shut for fear of not becoming an Eagle Scout. I blew the whistle after he kicked me out for pushing him off me when he tried his nonsense on me, and what did the local Council do? They swept it under the rug and me with it. I was the only former scout who testified when this guy was FINALLY brought up on charges. I had nothing to lose. That organization ruined five years of my life. The sad part is I NEVER wanted to be in that organization in the first place, but my mother dictated what I could and couldn't do. I couldn't go out for Little League like I wanted, but I could sit in the stands and watch my friends.
He did all of that and he wants to be an ENGINEER? Not the military where you get way more cash for making it to eagle, not a scout master, an ENGINEER. Well what kind of engineer? Tf....

Congratulations if you did complete it all correctly. As a fellow Eagle Scout i learned that many scouts that want to earn all the badges or achieve eagle at 15 just to get the praise. When in reality there parents were doing the badges for them. That disgusts me because they lesson the value of honorably earning the rank and badges. Hope you did it the right way, if not you will be breaking the scout promise to stay morally straight.
