If you overfish the male crabs in July, August and September, you are still endangering the specie; it doesn't matter if you leave the female crabs with eggs alone in the last 3 months of the year.

Trinidad’s land area is approx 1,840 square miles and a crab occupies approximately 6 square inches at most. It would therefore take 1.,227,000,000,000 crabs to overrun Trinidad and that is not even counting Tobago.
