I bought the same set up, but for $163.14, brand new vacuum WD4070 plus the auto detail kit, delivery and tax included from Home Depot. I ordered a bag 10 pack and the exhaust air diffuser. The adapters with the two new hoses will work with all the attachments from my old vacuum too, which is pleasing. I wear sound muffs when vacuuming though the noise on this new unit isn't too bad, but I still wear them as it makes vacuuming more comfortable. Try it. Cleaning is like gardening or cooking for those of us who like these activities. Do it meditatively and enjoy the movement and the equipment you use and the newly cleaned space when it's done.

I bought that same vac for work and absolutely love it! Told my wife we need this thing at home for the cars so we don't give to dig out my big 16 gal Craftsman, or bring our Shark vacuum outside every time the cars need to be vacuumed. Plus you get that lifetime service agreement with this Rigid vac for a little extra piece of mind.

The 5 hp is a sales and marketing lie, very hard to get a actual 5hp electric motor from 110 volts. good review. I have a large rigid vac to clean the shop and a small one to clean the jeep and truck.

Very nice and very good to know thanks for sharing that. I did not know that. I have even seen larger ones then this. Either way it's got great suction and works good so I suppose I'm happy lol

    Both are excellent vacs

Is there any adapter that allows you to use the original attachments with the upgraded hose? It would be 1 1/4 inch hose adapter to 1 7/8 inch adapters. I can’t find it anywhere

I have the same one. But recently I bought the 16 gallon. because the 4 gallon fills up with water quickly

Hi . Nice video. Have one suggestion when reviewing a product do not lower your sound unless you are going to take a measurement of the DB’s . As part of products I want to buy the sound level is always part of my consideration. Just food for thought hope this help you in the future.

How on earth does the long, black, 2 piece attachment that comes with the vacuum, attach to the upgraded hose end? Sorry for the silly question, but I honestly can't figure out how the two connect, different size connector points? Am I overlooking a adapter? Id really like to vacuum my shop floor without hurting my back, tks.

Looks like from the thumbnail the hose does wrap up fairly well for storage as intended? I cant find any other reviiews showing this. Every vac i have ever had i find i cant find a good way to storage the stiffer hoses. They dont wrap up well. Id love to pick this vac up> you mentioned it was $80. I show it at $99. Maybe you got it on sale? Hoping they kick it down for black friday/holidays i guess. The good news is the hose kit is on sale for $25 right now. Any problems with your hose splitting like many have reported?? (ends comming off etc?). Ill probably pick up the hose kit while its onsale at the very least. Also....every other wet/dry vac i have never owned with the exception of the LARGE ones......will tip over and suck up the float and then you have to power it down to release the float so it starts working again. Very frustrating. This one looks low to the ground so very little chance it will tip over. I like that.

The hose does wrap up fairly well I use a Velcro strap to hold it together after I wrap it up. And ya I've never had an issue with it tipping over. It's very stable. The hose kit is great haven't had any issues with splitting. The end has came off but it's a swivel head which is really nice and you can pressing back on or twist it back on. It's on fairly well the only reason it came off was bc I was forcing the hose under the edge of a seat at a weird angle so that was my bad but it simply goes back on. Hope that helps

How does a 1-1/4" orange hose fit 1-7/8" vacuum? This vacuum is advertised to fit only 1-7/8" hose, but the auto detailing hose is only 1-1/4" in diameter.
