Sadly not so good. Right after I got it I got extremely sick and couldn't go anywhere, so My friend who was gonna help me tune it. When I finally was better, she couldn't figure it out. I'm not really sure what to do now cuz I cant trust myself to tune it :/
Ashleigh Sweet Oh no ;/ I think you should go to the music store that has violins or private music school and ask someone there to help with tuning it :) Violin is a hard instrument. I think that even if you wanna learn by yourself you should take a couple of lessons with a teacher. ;3
Ashleigh Sweet To be honest today (it's almost 9 am ,22/04) i was going to have my first violin lesson. Just to chcek the violin (cuz i have never had it in my hands) and stuff. It's a private school so the lessons are done individually. But yesterday the teacher (also my mother's friend) sent a text that she has to chceck my musical hearing. I remember this test. When I was a kid i did everything. I was in a choir and we won national award same goes for dancing when i was 6 i won second place with my partner in all ages cathegory ( so obviously the older ones won the first place xD ) And I was also in a first degree music school but didn't study there for long cuz it was far away and i didn't like the instrument that much and i was later able to teach myslef how to play it and the way i wanted. But now a lot of things have happened and the thought of singing just makes me super stressed and I cried all day yesterday and i was shaking telling my mom that I don't wanna play the violin cuz i don't wanna sing. even tho i have musical hearing i wouldn't be able to (if i was asked to do it) sing cuz i would be so stressed that now it would go wrong and the teacher would think that i don't have it.
Ashleigh Sweet It actually went pretty well! Even tho i was extremly stressed. I'm so happy! :D ♥ She even said that she was wowed by how well i was doing without ever touching the violin before. Considering now if i should take those lessons and where to get the money from :P xD Good luck with tuning! Maybe you should make a post on facebook in your town group and ask if someone can tune it ;3 (haha and sorry about my english xd) xo
