If the Copa Mundial size 11 UK is good for you, you probably normally use a 12 UK size for other boots and shoes (as the Copa's usually have a shape 1 size bigger than they should be). My suggestion to you would be the 11.5 UK size. But it can be tricky due to your foot shape. What's the nominal length and width of your foot?
@@rodgedefender I totally agree. My feet sizing varies considerably depending on the brand. Mine's a nominal length of 29cm and a 10cm width. Is it also the sizing for the morelia 4?
When I buy them, I buy them directly from Japan - there a video in my channel where I show how I do it "HOW TO BUY". And whenever I have to sell boots, I normally sell via eBay.
Wait so you went up 2 full sizes up at 27cm, then recommend half size down for the normal Morelia 2 ie 26.5cm for u, right? It's kinda confusing since u went up 2 full sizes at the start then recommend people to go down half a size. Surely people will get confused and say a 25cm feet person would buy a 24.5cm for the Morelia 2!
Thank you for your comment and question. You’ve raised an important point-sizing is rarely straightforward. Here are a few tips: 1. Japanese Sizing vs. Western Sizes Japanese sizes in cm don’t directly translate to Western sizes, especially due to foot width differences. For example, a Japanese 25.0 might feel tight for someone with a 25 cm long foot, particularly on the sides. Tip: Use your standard UK/US/EU size as a reference instead of relying on cm measurements, which won’t match Western foot shapes well. 2. Foot Width and Size With a wider foot (mine is 10.5 cm), I find that going up a bit in UK sizes (to an 8) ensures comfort, even if it leaves a touch of room at the toe. UK 8 is my true size when I buy boots here. 3. Product-Specific Sizing Recommendations Morelia 2 (Cross-Stitched Version): Buy true to your usual UK/US/EU size, as I mentioned in the video. Morelia Classic (Regular Stitching): Go half a size down from your usual boot size for the best fit. Don't use the Japanese sizes as a reference compared to your foot nominal lenght, it won't work. Thanks again for the question-hope this helps! Rodge
@rodgedefender thank you for this very detailed reply. Indeed sizing is not straight forward and people's perception of their "true to size" or "usual sizing" will differ from person to person. Your advise is much appreciated!
@@rodgedefender Then i'd need to pay for customs extra i guess. Last time i bough a used pair for 200 bucks + shipping from ebay USA, i had to fork out an extra 105€ for the customs.
I have a video that talks about the way I purchase. If you buy from Buyee (Mizuno Japan Website) the value declared in the process is the price of the goods as in Japan, the value for freight is not considered in the calculation of customs charges. Ebay is different, as you pay the full package (goods+freight) the full value is what the customs consider, hence it gets more expensive and overpasses the customs threshold value.
@@rodgedefender customs threshold value is 150€ here though, I doubt it will get cheaper than that? I actually have wave cup at my sights due to stud pattern, morelia can still be found discounted locally
In the UK it's £135. Yen is low. Hence most of the models can get here below that if purchased from Japan directly. Wave Cup is a different thing, indeed very expensive, hence you will pay for custom charges anyways.
got both black and white m8. amazing boots i go down half a size from adidas and it fits perfectly
Amazing!!!! Enjoy your boots!
Got a Question guys. I'm using copa mudial UK Size 11. What size do you recommend for Morelia 2?

Ok, thank you, that makes it easier. Your size for the Morelia 2's will be the UK 11. Same for the Morelia Neo 4's.
They good for wide feet?
And where did you sell your boot?
They're very good for wide feet! The K-leather molds to your foot perfectly

What is your foot size in cm?
I have very wide feet:
- length: 25 cm one side and 25.5 cm on the other side;
- width: 10.5 cm at the widest point.

Reason why you should buy directly from Japan (Mizuno Japan Website, via Buyee operator).
