I watched this in 2 sittings so most of my comments are on the second half. I liked everything you did with the purse. My favorite 2 were with the other AG outfit with the cactus on it. My favorite shirt outfits were the shirt either denim bottoms; shirts, jeans and skirt. I love how you’ve pulled other colors from the shirt to use, but I know that if I had this shirt, it would go with denim. This was fun and very timely as this is a relatively new outfit and so many people agree that these boots just don’t go with the rest of the outfit. I’ve also heard (and thought) that it would make great mix and match pieces and look better separate than together.
Yeah, it's funny about the Explore More outfit because we got that randomly in a lot and were planning on selling it. Now that we have such a perfectly matching purse and I've styled it a couple different ways, though, we're definitely keeping it. And I know there is a bit of collective confusion about the boots and the way the whole thing comes together. I'll probably never dress a doll in the entire outfit all at once, but obviously there are a ton of options.
Great job! Favorite looks are plentiful. Sweater cardigan with skirt #8. Cold shoulder top with skirt on Primrose #9. Nurture nature top with skirt #10. Brown romper, black skirt with brown top, and brown leather moto jacket with boots & jeans on James. The cactus purse with cactus top on Isabel and the cactus purse with baggy cactus shorts I love. The seafoam capris with the top and Saige’s sandals. I have this outfit but shocker (lol) I have not unboxed it yet.
It's funny because I don't think I'd used that Explore More outfit until this video. We got it in a lot and were actually planning on selling it. But now that we have a matching purse and I've had a chance to style the different pieces of the outfit, I think we'll definitely keep it.
Great outfits!! Love so many of them!! The Nicki Fleming Jacket and Gabby’s turquoise top were my two favorites with the skirt. Loved James in every outfit with the boots; especially the black torn pants and cream sweatshirt, and the two black skirt outfits. Loved Isabel’s outfit with Joss’s shorts, Delphine in the blue fringe top, the raspberry top and the purple dress that Grace made, with the purse! I actually love the dress without a top under it! For the top I love Maile in the orange shorts and also in the jean shorts. Also love Prim in the yellow pants, the sea foam green capris and the navy skirt!! Another awesome video!!
I'll add it to the long list of video ideas :) And I'm really glad you enjoy this series. It's good for me, too. Keeps me looking at our collection with fresh eyes.
The blue skirt works. WOW that was great. It does inspire me to try different things with the doll outfits I tend to use the outfits as sold not very creative in the fashion end so love the inspiration. The colors in this outfit would compliment Moana well if you change her out of her meet outfit.
You definitely should play around and do some mixing and matching. I always find I feel an added element of pride/job well done when it's an outfit I put together myself (though they look just as good in the outfits as they were sold). And I totally the colors will look great on Moana. We will change her out of her meet - just haven't yet.
That’s was an accomplishment. Great job. As far as the age of the dolls, if they can drive cars and scooters they should be over 16 to drive. So no worries if they look to grown up.
@ you know Barbie clothes have been questionable since day one. On her defense she is 18yrs old and a fashion model among other careers. But yesss lmfao!!!
Thanks so much! 😊I'd love to put the same energy into my own wardrobe but a) unlike the dolls, I have to think about comfort and b) nice human clothes cost more than nice doll clothes. So the dolls continue to be the best dressed ;-)
Not fan of the skirt but it looks better with the waistband covered (in my opinion, of course). When I first saw the shirt, it looked more burgundy. In your pictures however, it looks more purple, which I like better. Your use of the purse and boots looked like a fun adventure. Well done! And thanks.
This outfit is on sale today and it had already jumped into my cart, but this video confirmed that it will survive the "oh crap I can't actually purchase this much even though it's all on sale" cart purge that is destined to happen before I hit purchase later today. Thank you for this fun video! Your models are all so pretty and they rocked those awesome outfits!
I really love this outfit's pieces. I don't even particularly mind two statement pieces that intentionally clash (even though it's not my own personal style), but what I find I don't like about it the most is that the shirt feels casual and the skirt feels fancy. I think my favourite skirt outfit is the aubergine etsy cardigan, tank and orange sandals outfit - or maybe the aubergine cold shoulder top that's immediately after it (but I do like it with the two cuff bracelets from AG a lot!) My favourite shirt outfit is with the silvery sage green capris. It helps that it's a similar colour scheme to something I wear occasionally (green and aubergine - shirts a bit more fuchsia than my usual, but close) , but I also think the pieces have the same level of "casual, but *nice*" to them that makes the outfit make sense to me. Oh no, I'm totally going to ask you (or a viewer) to identify those amazing purple flat shoes! Stylewise they look very akin to the sunny yellow flats are go for crazy money (that I also want very much) so I'm tempted to find out what the purple ones are and hunt that down too. The dress (jumper?) Grace made matches them perfectly - had she done that intentionally, or a lucky accident?
I completely get that about the eyes. When she first came out, I worried that AG was going to go the way of the Disney ILY dolls and start gravitating to oversized eyes. I'm glad that didn't turn out to be the case. I also think your logic about Moana is solid - why would you want to do an eye swap on her? She's so lovely as is!
My favorites were mostly all of Delphine’s outfits, but my top picks were #20, the purple polka dot skirt with the teal top and the cactus bag on Delphine; #30 the teal pants with the top on Primrose and #9 Primrose in the burgundy top with the skirt. One from each piece of outfit you choose. But as I said I really liked all of Delphine’s looks. I liked the dress look to but would have preferred a top under the dress. So many of the outfits were great overall. I can see where it would be easy to make outfits because of the beautiful colors in all of the pieces of this set. I am not a fan of the boots so wasn’t going to get it but I might now because of all the potential outfits I can make from it. Great video!!
I think the boots are cute enough, just not with the outfit. And for people who don't like them at all, you could always sell just the boots or have them mostly covered like I did with the boot cut jeans.
That is a good idea to use the jacket and shoes from Nikki Fleming. The crochet top is nice with the skirt. I am with you the skirt does not fit with sage shirt. The teal is a nice contrast color. The green shirt seems a little to muted but it is a cute look. I love the boots. looks good with the romper and with the jeans and leather look jacket. The purse is cute and looks great with the shorts and the cactus shirt. The skirt Grace made looks cute with the purse. shirt looked nice with the and the blue jean shorts and the red shorts. the belt and the boots make the jeans outfit. the mustard yellow adds a nice change
I'm so glad you enjoyed it and thank you for taking the time to comment. The descriptions definitely helped because this was a marathon 'dressing my dolls' video and I was losing track by the end of it lol
I know this isn’t ever specifically your goal, but you definitely influenced me to get this outfit. I knew the pieces were amazing, but this just sealed the deal! Also Maile is amazing-did you customize her yourself? If so what lashes did you use?
You're right - it's not specifically my goal, but one of my goals when I show newer things IS to help people make more informed decisions by discussing things they might not have known or noticed. So yay! And I did customize Maile myself - I adore her. I got her lashes from Walgreens or something. I bought the shortest ones and cut them and just used the outer ends, which were shorter than the middle part.
to anyone who might know-my doll's head was getting kinda loppy so i decided to take the head off and reposition it. i've done once before, but long time ago. now its not getting tight enough and you can see the recess between the neck and the under area. like a lot to the point its sucking up necklaces. any suggestions!! do i put the base of the neck under the recess to make it seemless?? please hellp! also love the video ag takes over!
Do you use zip ties or neck string? Some people feel they get a tighter fit with zip ties. I also push the doll's head against a wall or have someone hold her head so I can lean into it more and get a tighter fit. Good luck!
You are an excellent stylist.
Oh thank you! Less so for my personal wardrobe, but let's face it - the dolls are just easier to dress lol.

Where'd the other comment go? I could've sworn I saw it earlier.
@@agtakesover There was only this one comment. I’d started a comment on the first half, but got involved in dinner and lost it. Sorry.

You picked a few of my favorites. And yes, I'm in total shock that you haven't unboxed it ;-) Congrats, btw, on your beautiful Moana!!
@ thanks! 🙂
I loved the country cutie. All dolls deserve a good bootcut jean lol.
Not to mention the jumpsuit was just perfect!
Thanks - totally agree about the bootcut jeans, though we only have a few pair and many dolls, so it's a good thing they share lol
Boots look SO MUCH BETTER WITH THISE OUTFITS! 👏🏼
Right?! I think it's such a weird shoe choice for that outfit, but I like them by themselves, so I don't mind.
My favorite outfit is Isabel's! I have that outfit, so you're making me want this one! Lol, I might get it closer to next summer!

Thank you - there were a lot of outfits I really liked in this one!
These turned out so well!! I would love to see a 1 item 10 looks challenge with Courtney's shirt and tie. This series gives me so much inspiration
I'll add it to the long list of video ideas :) And I'm really glad you enjoy this series. It's good for me, too. Keeps me looking at our collection with fresh eyes.

True - it just feels weird to say, "If this dress were on an *adult human* and styled this way, it'd be hot" lmao
@ you know Barbie clothes have been questionable since day one. On her defense she is 18yrs old and a fashion model among other careers. But yesss lmfao!!!
Love them all! You’re so good with coordinating fashion! Thank you for the fun ideas! 😊

I like the skirt, but I do agree that the looks I liked best with it had the waistband covered :) I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I really do not know which one to choose. As my favorite, to be honest with you, they all looks so good. You did a great job. Thank you so much.
Oh, I'm glad you liked it so much. Not being able to choose a favorite because you liked so many is a good problem ;-)
That went surprisingly fast for 34 outfits.
True. I try to find that happy spot between "whoa! slow down!" and "move it along, ma'am" lol

Super cute video! My favorite is #13, also like 15 and 17
Thanks so much - I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
Came in on #12. Will watch replay. Have this outfit in my cart, but was hesitating. These variations are great.
Well, inquiring minds want to know - did you end up getting the outfit?

Loved Prim in the green pants, all the looks with the boots and the tailored jacket on Brooklyn. 💗🧡🤎
