I was there. Great show. I even saw Rudy wandering the arena and shouted "Rudy!!!". He gave me the peace sign! Haha...It was great! Amazing show, second time I see them. Had it not been for work I would be at the Corpus Christi show tomorrow. :(

It was a great show. Can’t say I loved New Year’s Day. I would expect PRS is on alert since the Gibson gift from Lzzy and Dany bringing the Explorer out every show. That said, I miss the Spearfish - what a special guitar. Would have loved a sellout for this show - promotion odd for this new venue, but it didn’t affect The Warning! 🔥🤘 #NumberlyGarfs were there!
Yeah New Year's Day were...well, less than impressive. They did try really hard though and I appreciated the enthusiasm of the vocalist. I think there was a problem with their sound in San Antonio. I couldn't hear their guitars at all. Sunday night in Lubbock they sounded much better. I still don't care for their songs but it was at least a much more tolerable show. Oh, and #NumberlyGarfs indeed :)
The PRS guitars sound much better and more appropriate for their style of music than both the Gibson Explorer and the Spearfish. The Spearfish has a unique design but the sound is mediocre.
@@berwinenzemann3468 don’t think I agree with you on that. Remember the Spearfish was used throughout ERROR recordings and new Enter Sandman - just look at videos. Granted there was a difference in the sustain between the two Spearfish she had, but I believe they were still great instruments. And Dany said much easier to tune than her Manson.
@@edwasintx I checked and you're actually right. I always thought Dany already used the PRS on Error but she indeed still used the Spearfish. Yes it sounds fantastic on Error. But in all the live videos the PRS sounds clearly better in my opinion. I wonder what's the difference. She's still using the same Orange amp isn't she?
I think the blue PRS is a Custom 24 not a Custom 24-08 like the red one. Any musicians out there that know for sure? And anybody know anything about the black PRS? Sorry but inquiring minds wanna know.😁
Yeah there are limitations recording with a cellphone, especially that close to the stage. Frankly I'm surprised it turned out as well as it did. Mostly recordings like this are intended to be personal keepsakes to remember meaningful events. I share them hoping someone else will get something out of them.
