    Thanks for working on Sini 🥰 she was broke down less than 12 hours hours they stole the catalytic converter. Just shows you can't have anything nice.

    Great shop video on working on vehicles. Young kids should be watching these.

    Man those cat theives have turned the world upside down. Here in Oregon they passed a law that you cant scrap them anymore

      I come to find out , as I suspected . When the car broke down , she came back about 90 min later with a tow truck , and the car was sitting on rocks that someone used as a stand after they jacked it up

      @@vdog4799 one guy did and had large zip ties, he got his legs while he was under the vehicle. People that decide to do stuff like that are ignorant, but in the end it turns out the cats aren’t helping. The air was dirty from chemtrails, and fires, industrial pollution….

    Running rough, maybe not enough back pressure? Just a thought.

    I know in the Metro NY area , none of the salvage yards will sell a used CAT . These are not cheap , especially with the CARB rating mandated here . I don't see the logic of recycling low mileage CATS .

      I could never understand it either. Im from NY , and there were soo many times that I would have paid for a used Cat if I could get one.

    Van guy got his cat cut out and what happens? Well he don’t have money for e new one, he puts a straight pipe in, sais his van runs a lot better now. He could get a ticket if anyone is looking.

    I just purchased a car with the similar motor. Broken belt on the way home :/ was there any damage to valves?

    • @WrenchingWithKenny
      @WrenchingWithKenny  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes , the exhaust valves made contact and two are clearly bent . 6 others show signs of contact . So I'm just replacing all 8 . If you scroll back on my videos , I had another car with a broken belt . It was also an interference motor . But luckily , It didn't hit the valves . I've had about a 60% success rate on interference motors with just replacing the belt . You may have gotten lucky , put a belt on and let us know how you made out !! Thanks for watching !!
