Lovely engine enjoy. Perhaps consider not wearing shorts whilst driving because if a gauge glass breaks hot water will blow out under pressure and it could be very painfull.
I'd really like to bring her down, but I've missed the deadline for entries for most rallies this year. I might ring and see if there is any chance of a late entry.
@@SteamOTR ahh yes of course, that's fair enough! Definitely worth a call though just incase! Good luck with everything, I'll keep an eye on the blog and hopefully see you at a rally one day. Congrats on the purchase! 🎉👏
She's a beautiful engine! Congratulations .
Thanks very much. She steams really well.
Absolutely great news look forward to more videos soon!
Thanks very much. Really appreciate the comment. I'm hoping to be a bit more organised soon and make some better videos!
Lovely! You must be very pleased.
Yes - When I saw it come up for sale I knew I had to move fast as it was going to sell very quickly. Very very pleased. Now the real learning starts!
Spicy hot rod ! I love the evident torque !
Torque, yes, Hot rod, probably less so 🤣
Congratulations
Thanks very much. It's still a huge learning curve, but one to be gone through with a smile on my face.
Enjoyed your latest video thanks for sharing and liked DD.
Thanks for the latest feedback. Great to hear from you again. Really glad you're enjoying the vlogs.
@@SteamOTR Spot thank you.
Congratulations Dan, its a beauty
Thanks very much 😊If you'll pardon the pun, I'm a bit chuffed.
It must've cost a huge amount of money, for a traction engine that's clean & detailed.
She's showing her age a bit, but still love her to pieces.
You are one lucky man! Would love to own a miniature traction vehicle..
I am indeed. It's taken a while though.
Great to see that you made a deal on the Garrett, now comes the learning curve. Look forwards to more vlogs and seeing how you get on 👍🏻
So much to learn, but it's going to be fun!
I would like to see how you tie down and fit the tractor and wagon in your trailer. Do you have any videos of this?
No, but I'll try and get some footage in a video in the near future.
Well wear with the engine you soon have her tamed
Thanks. It's a big learning curve, but I've started on some maintenance to make sure she's cared for.
Lovely engine enjoy. Perhaps consider not wearing shorts whilst driving because if a gauge glass breaks hot water will blow out under pressure and it could be very painfull.
It’s very unlikely a gauge glass is going to break unless you go round prodding it with your shovel
I've adapted now to keeping my legs out of the tender, so less of an issue. To be fair, Tom told me exactly the same thing!
@@tobybarnes6599 but they do break and hot water will burn, it was just a pointer to someone who is learning.
@@SteamOTR 👍enjoy the engine
@@simonellis3505 And it's appreciated as such. I'm grateful for all the pointers I can get at the moment.
Lucky You.
Very lucky
Thumbs up.World tour?lol.
Cheers.
Town tour is about my limit so far!
Absolutely brilliant mate, what a lovely engine! Will you be at castle combe steam rally this weekend?
I'd really like to bring her down, but I've missed the deadline for entries for most rallies this year. I might ring and see if there is any chance of a late entry.

Who would you recommend buying a traction
engine from
Can't go wrong with Legacy Vehicles
can i ride this in the city if i get my hands on one? lol
I'm not sure I'd be keen on City use without brakes!
What scale is it?
It's 6" scale engine - just over 8 feet long.
Thanks
