drove a Kenworth with a 3408 caterpillar 15 speed before .Great sounding engine like the scam is fast revving unlike 6 cylinder diesels 3408 had a crazy amount of power when you mashed the accelerator it was on they love fuel too around 4.5 mpg

Wrong, a Scania can have anywhere from 300-2736 horsepower. Yes, there may be emissions but.. Emissions can easily be passed by with some knowledge and modifications like egr and dpf and injectors turbos, you can mod anything on a diesel motor and make it in to a powerhouse with time and knowledge

Justin Hood I'm right there with you. loved trucks ever since I was a transporter in the Finnish Army. american longhoods (especially old peter and westerns) are truly gorgeous. but alot of it has to do with regulations and culture. Top cabs are easier to drive since you always know where you have the front of the truck and the scania turbo whistle is one of the best things ever.
