Man, I was 16 years-young in 1965, a high school sophomore! I remember how this song was all over the radio and the kids loved it!!! Adults did too!! Those were carefree and wonderful days, with great cars, great music, and great looking chicks...until you got drafted and sent to 'Nam! LOL!!
I used to work with older mentally ill patients. The song came on the radio one of the clients showed me the dance that goes to this song. She was killing it❤
Back in the early 70s i was a wee little guy i can remember back in Detroit my momma and her twin sister (my aunt) of course drinkin Smirinoff vodka and puffin on there lil joints dancing there asses off to this song us kids dancing rite along with them...God knows i miss you both...RIP.
Junior Walker and the All Stars were one awesome blues/rock band back in the day! And “Shotgun” was one of my favorite songs!!! Great group of musicians and singers!!
