@@RadiusAthletics Thanks. Always looking to watch what other teams do as far as counters/entries/specials with it. We run it with our opposite big staying high but I like what they are getting starting her at the mid-high post.
@@bobdole3615 Against a 2-3, you want the G to match the ball, post screens him out. This forces the weak G to rotate over to keep the ball out of the lane. Now the weakside F is the only defender on that side of the floor against three offensive players. We cut the wing down into a pin down on that F (in a zone he'll be ball watching and often not see it coming. Kick to post, kick to corner player lifting.
I run something very similar with my U15 (Midget) boys community team, which is a 1 a week practice, 1 a week game team where only M2M defense is allowed (no zone). This kind wing-ball-screen continuous offense (aka Gonzaga) builds good fundamentals even in non-high school teams, particularly pick & roll, pick & pop and ball reversal skills. There are plenty of subtle little variations you can add... slipping (rejecting) screens... high-low post passes.... curl-screens (forward down-screens for baseline corner guards). I start the offense with the big forwards at high post.. smalls/guards at low post... the bigs down-screen and the smalls kick out to the wings. The middle key opens up for the point guard cutter (often wide open for give & go).. so by the 3rd or 4th time you run this offense their defense ends up sagging back, playing under the screens and crowding the key. Then you end up with uncontested jump shots at wings and in the corners / baseline for your shooters. I'd probably not run this offense if I didn't have some marginal or better outside shooters.
Been running this for years at the JuCO mens level. They do great. Took over a high school girls program with poor talent, we can't even throw the ball in.
Pass, then empty to OPPOSITE CORNER. 😀😀😀
Love it !!!
Point guard does not get the ball back = more players can touch the ball.
Empty Corner is a masterpiece.
Pick & Pop would be my choice.😀😀😀
Been running this at u14 last two years and love it. Can run it against zone as well with a minor tweak or two.
Australia men in the 2016 Rio Olympics used it as well

you may like this online clinic I did:

plusEV how exactly do you tweak it for zone? I notice the weak side is overloaded and was wondering if you can do that

Trailing Big Principle, wish my Lakers did this.
2 or 3 passes BEFORE going into ballscreen.😂😂😂
The worst defenses can beat 1-Pass Offense.
