    Great interview.
    All the best.
    Kiwi here and I want the Wallabies to succeed.
    Such a personable man, with integrity.
    Stark contrast to last year's debacle with Eddie Jones.

    Hilarious Brumbies are the top Aus team and get less selected than the Reds just another year of mediocrity

    • @josephgerrardselfdefence
      @josephgerrardselfdefence 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      would agree to an extent, but at least the majority picked of the squad is from both of those sides, the others got very few in comparison, which is a HUGE step forward. few brumbies boys could be hard done by, but toole is basically an in, just doing 7s, swain must be so so close, and a few others would be right there... so I'm ok with it. i'd guess most of the starting side will be brumbies lads

    • @Maballzarebig
      @Maballzarebig 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Lonergan misses out but Gordon who is perennial loser gets in. No Swain but Salakaia Loto who every test runs high and loses possession adds zero is in. Stewart gets in and Muirhead misses out. Reimer doesn’t even get a look in but he is by far the best over the ball player for Aus rugby. We will scrape by Georgia and then be lucky to win a single game. This constant love affair with QLD and NSW is going to kill the game here. Watching mistake after mistake is just embarrassing and we will be lucky to field a team in the few years when most players decide to play in Japan for a bigger salary and better living conditions. Or they will go to league like Marky Mark and Carter have.

    • @josephgerrardselfdefence
      @josephgerrardselfdefence 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Maballzarebig I'd agree with hard calls on Swain and Lonergan, but I'm ok with them as well... not like they're robberies, muirhead missing out, not too concerned with. stewart is very much a 50/50, which I think muirhead would have been as well, probably better from a versatility point... half backs... gordon in again I'm ok with for the reasons he explained being experience and lack there of in the 10's. all 9's are highly experienced, maybe state not so much, but I think the balance is a lot better there. Lonergan will get his shot, he's on the cusp. I'm not for many of the rebels players, i'd have taken muirhead over dungunu or whatever his name is... super overrated IMO... but I dunno, pretty ok overall with it, especially when you compare it to what went to the world cup. it's actually a squad and probably likely to be a team that can actually take us into the top 3 again, so I'm good with it. I would think swain and lonergan are probably next in line for their positions as well

      @tristanmckenzie1623 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Agreed, schmidt is doing the right thing by his development. There will be other parts of his game Jo would have told him to work on. Eddie, for instance, would have picked him straight away and ruined him, look at Carter Gordan for 1. Jo is a smart man where he lets the actions do the talking. He's not the kind of guy that will make arrogant statements about saying how good they are going to be eg (Eddie) without seeing the proof in the pudding for himself so he's being quietly cautious but he's promising effort. That's the first and most important part of your team. The rest should eventuate with hard work
