Thank you so much for sharing. I know someone who had five children of their own then started fostering. They adopted four siblings from foster care and continued to foster after that. Where we live they were able to homeschool because the "umbrella" was considered a private school. At least that is what I understood at the time. This was so many years ago that all of those kids are adults and some have children. As far as I know, they are still fostering. I agree that routine is super important, even as an adult if I don't follow some sort of routine I am a mess. This is why I am a mess all the time with Jeff changeing shifts every month, and my routine changes with it but it works out.

What an awesome family that you know, it's great to hear positive stories about foster families! I just recently heard of "umbrella" schools,I hope that does allow some foster children to be homeschooled, many of them could really benefit from home education! Thanks for watching, Kat!

@@outofthemouths the family is kind of family. She is my ex stepdad's sister and I always called her aunt. Even after my mama and he divorced.

I love your video Valerie. I remembered having a very strict schedule with my children when they were small. It really helped me and I know it help the flow of the family dynamic every day. I loved that you shared a daily charts. I remember making one for one of the children I watch during the summer. She had such a difficult time breaking away from her mom that she needed to have a step-by-step chart. It help a lot.

I have to create a routine for my kids or we can’t function. Nothing will get done, unless we have s flexible routine.
