Okay, so I've matured and realized something. What Troy and Gabriela did was messed up, but they didn't ruin her chances for Juilliard...she did. She was wearing a Gabriella style dress, on Gabriella's balcony, playing a role specifically written for Gabriella. She was so focused on competing against her that she was trying to become someone she wasn't. Okay, let's forget about Troy and Gabriella for a second and how Sharpay lost her chance to go to Juilliard. Let's talk about this Jimmy guy. I read a few comments, where people would defend him, by saying that his singing was quite good and stuff. Well, his singing is not a problem here. And to be sure that their moves were choreographed, you can see how Ryan was repeating their dance moves, since he was a choreographer. Sharpay actually did quite a good job, despite being surprised and, let's be honest, upset and angry. She did her best in order to avoid Jimmy's advances through dancing and continued to sing the song up till the end. But the guy just couldn't get a hint. It annoys me, how people are defending him in the comment section by telling that it was actually sweet, how he hugged Sharpay etc. Like, come on, it's not romantic and it's not sweet. Yes, she would probably be very upset through her facial expressions, but she would've finished it, just like on the rehearsals. I mean Sharpay did sing it until the end. She tried to be professional, but everyone, even her own brother, just laughed at it. And okay, maybe audience did think that it was part of the performance, but Ryan, of all people, knew exactly what was going on. And it doesn't matter how mad he was at Sharpay, she is his sister. He made her seem like she didn’t know what to do infront of the JULLIARD staff. And then her next performance is ruined too by her assistant. I think Kelsi and Ryan are talented too and deserved it. But I can’t help but think their chances were boosted by Sharpay’s sabotaged performances. On the positive note, that guy who’s name I can’t remember has my favorite type of singing voice: Scratchy and so obviously didn’t practice before but his voice somehow manages to reach each note and lyric smoothly if not perfectly
Troy and Gabriella = the greatest singers in high school musical:(with basically magical raw pure talent):both together and individually and they’re in love and Ryan’s not too bad himself I guess meanwhile Sharpay? not really all that great individually solo IMO
Ryan laughs at his sister's disgrace. More and more alongside the gang and the Wild Cats, with a brother like that who needs enemies. Troy and Gabriella nauseous and boring couple. Kelsie is really boring. Sharpay, who handles the film with a lot of personality, despite always being passed over, doesn't hold grudges, it's no wonder he won a film of her own.
I don't think Ryan's laughing at Sharpay's disgrace when he covers his mouth I think that's in shock due to how Jimmy is dressed then when he gets Troy and Gabriella to look again it's at how Jimmy is dressed! But while we're on this topic look at how sad Ryan is when he's just danced and sang his heart out and all Sharpay can say to him is "aww cute pants" and she sounds like she's talking to a 5 year old! Can you spell condescending? xxx
Oh please it's karma for her not even acknowledging her brothers performance and talent and purposely putting him in her shadow until he stood up for himself and interacted with someone other than his family. All Ryan wanted from Sharpay in that moment was a simple "Great performance!" maybe even a hug and all he got was a condescending "Awww cute pants". You can tell by the look on his face after that he was kinda expecting that which shows she's done this before.

I do believe that Sharpay was already preparing for her scene with troy. She was also under pressure because they are being observed by possible sponsors so she wants her performance to be off the charts. Her scene is literally seconds after Ryan's.
@@BCOG1691 no, don’t defend her. I like her character but this just plays into it because she thinks she’s better than everyone else so she doesn’t care about what others might have to tell her if she doesn’t deem them important enough.
@@BCOG1691 see that would be a good reason…..if her character wasn’t like that offstage as well. Remember how she would treat Kelsi’s original songs (I do like Sharpeys versions better but if you’re talking respect for theater you have to respect your cast mates and composers as well)? As if she was too good to even give them a try. And how she treated everyone as if they were beneath her. Not excusing the fact that Troy and Gabriella just turned up outta the blue and not expect her to be upset but….well…..we all know what Karma is.
@@veronicaa4173we will defend her if we want to actually

DON’T DEFEND BULLIES
LIKE SHARPAY PLEASE
1:26 - 1:31 como me mata de la risa cuando Sharpay repite 3 veces esa parte 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
kelsie sabia que troy la habia
dejado en banda a sharpay
😂😂😂😂😂
You know that Sharpay is the one who is bullied here. We got the jock and the smart girl who bullies the theater kid. I don't know if this is just me, but living in an Asian country, the smart kids mostly bullies the weird ones, and I was the weird kid that was bullied for 10 years just because I wasn't smart or athletic like them, but passionate with what weird thing I like. Sharply is the weird theater kid. Now I get why my mom loves Sharpay more than Gabriella.
You know that Sharpay is the one DOING THE BULLYING here Troy and Gabriella who’re BULLIED BY Sharpay
@@noorbohamad5796no
The passion, she's in her element.
i been watching in it all the time i loved it when I saw the entire movie that was great and was really good to sing along with it
Maturing is realizing Sharpay was the victim and that Gabriella and Troy were the villains
girl no
nah, thats beeing delusional. maybe you should rewatch the movies
Sharpay’s the villainous antagonist not Troy nor Gabriella
@@manale9366yes thank you
Tbf Jimmy didn’t even sing that bad! He had quite a sweet voice!
I love Sharpay in this movie. 😆
I miss when this was popular
Sharpay sneezes so iconic ❤❤❤
Sharpay and Troy are my favorite characters from the movie
Sharpay: *tries*
Sharpay when Jimmie comes on: I WANNA BE OUT
It’s 2024 and I can’t get enough of this
same
It's really song in my favorities
she is the star!
i need this version on spotify😭
2021 and im still here
Love this
Jimmy “Rocketman” Zara and Sharpay harmonized well
Bro bribed the dj for a dramatic intro though
jimmy was the hottest thing in this whole franchise
If you think about it, this guy saved her from embarassment.
It’s honestly so disgraceful for that guy to be late. Sharpays APPLICATION to JULLIARD is on the line with this play-she needed it to be perfect and he couldn’t even show up on time? He made her seem like she didn’t know what to do infront of the JULLIARD staff. And then her next performance is ruined too by her assistant. I think Kelsi and Ryan are talented too and deserved it. But I can’t help but think their chances were boosted by Sharpay’s sabotaged performances.
On the positive note, that guy who’s name I can’t remember has my favorite type of singing voice: Scratchy and so obviously didn’t practice before but his voice somehow manages to reach each note and lyric smoothly if not perfectly
His name was Jimmy Zara (Rocket Man in other words)
Sharpay is the real star of these movies
Fantástico sharpeim
kelsey’s face was like damn your annoying af but when your on stage i can’t not like you
Verry good
Septième chanson préférée 😊😊
Just wanna be with you sharpay

I am really a big fan of high school musical
High school musical was shot in my state! It was made in a school in Salt Lake City
Sharpay and ryan were the best singers in high scool musical. Troy and Gabrielle were just in love
Troy and Gabriella = the greatest singers in high school musical:(with basically magical raw pure talent):both together and individually and they’re in love and Ryan’s not too bad himself I guess meanwhile Sharpay? not really all that great individually solo IMO

Sharpay has had some great songs, but her singing the villain version of this Gabriela song makes this the best scene in the series.
I feel bad for sharpay...but I loved vanessa hudgens by her play in high school musical series.
Even if we're miles apart 😂💀💀
would’ve been better if zeke showed up on stage with sharpay
nah cause they literally let her be harassed on stage??
Omg I felt so bad for sharpay
AGUANTE SHARPAY LOCO
I can’t believe I watched this with a straight face
Don't care about the original plot tbh I've always liked Sharpay and Troy as a couple.

We all know that the real villain of the story is Gabriella.
We all know that the real villain of the story’s SHARPAY
Ryan laughs at his sister's disgrace. More and more alongside the gang and the Wild Cats, with a brother like that who needs enemies. Troy and Gabriella nauseous and boring couple. Kelsie is really boring. Sharpay, who handles the film with a lot of personality, despite always being passed over, doesn't hold grudges, it's no wonder he won a film of her own.
That's karma. Sharpay always treated her brother like trash, now he did the same. And, you don't need to tear down other characters to uplift Sharpay
@@thelovelyone2828 but you do exact same with your comments..
@@IamDemzz No, I didn't lift up Gabriella. She shit on Gabriella and then uplifted Sharpay. I was speaking facts. I never said Gabriella was great
I don't think Ryan's laughing at Sharpay's disgrace when he covers his mouth I think that's in shock due to how Jimmy is dressed then when he gets Troy and Gabriella to look again it's at how Jimmy is dressed!
