Lol Wow this is very interesting and fun to see! Wish there were more raw Disney footage like this! I plan to be a character performer a Disney world. so it’s awesome being able to get a glimpse at the behind the scenes magic :)
Good luck. It's been awhile since the comment. Were you able to get the gig at Disney? It was one of the best jobs I've ever had! Thanks for the comment.
@@teamcarroll It’s so awesome to hear that someone enjoyed it! I’ve heard that it’s pretty bad working there which actually kinda caused me to change my mind, I’ve also been so busy with college too haha.
7:45, I love how he just casually looks over like, "Oh, it's you." and doesn't immediately shoo him, but stands there looking at the camera going, "I've no idea what he wants." lol. Miko must have been searching for more biscuts, I take it? :D This was fascinating, I've never seen anything like this and had wondered just how many layers you had on when you play a character like Jafar in the parks. P.S. I am usually the shortest in my group when I go anywhere. When I visit Jafar one day, it would not surprise me if he uses me as a desk, lol. Excellent show, gentlemen, thank you for sharing this!
Thanks for the comment. I'm still surprised how many people still watch this video. As to layers, just a shirt, shorts and skull cap under that costume. It did get pretty toasty in the summer time. But it was great fun playing a bad guy. Making all the parents bow down to me was a kick! Thanks for the comment.
It was a very cool costume. I played Beast, Chewy and Goofy a lot, but this guy was fun. His long fingers and the ability to be mean on set was a trip. Thanks for the comment.
Matthew Weikert They’re only doing this so they can keep the kids and anyone in the park happy, without finding out about it... Even the employees did the best job of doing the Disney character roles for a quick budget at the end of the day..

Jafar definitely seems like the kinda dude you’d find at a frat party, doing parlor tricks for everyone while using his staff as a bong.
You're right. Sigma Chi class of '91! Thanks for watching.

I will never take this down. I love it. Totally against Disneyworld Law! But they can't get me now!!!
haha i love it !. He does a great job ^^
Thanks. It was a long time ago, but I loved playing a bad guy!
1:21 Looks like Frollo dressed in red!

circa '93? Pocahontas didn't come until 1995....
I believe you're right. 1993 sounds close.
I wish I could wear that costume at disney

haha nice :D jafar is a nice boy :3
thanks
You guys were saying “butthurt” in 1993?
Yeah, we were. Pretty before our time I suspect. Thanks for watching.
@@teamcarroll thx, how did you see out of the Jafar costume?
We would see out of the neck area. It was a mesh like material, but I would see out but you couldn’t see in.
Don't you think that was a little obvious?
What was obvious?
+Jimmy Carroll That finding out the characters are not real, meaning nothing to anybody?
who says characters aren't real?????
No, no, no I didn't mean it like that. I meant when all the characters are just people in costumes entertaining little children, they're all fakes?
Matthew Weikert They’re only doing this so they can keep the kids and anyone in the park happy, without finding out about it... Even the employees did the best job of doing the Disney character roles for a quick budget at the end of the day..
But where would Disney find somebody who would sound just like Jafar?
Where you talking when you had fans around you if so I thought you could not speak only face characters can talk?
No, I wasn't speaking. Just trying to be as animated as possible.
Oh do you work at Disneyland or Disney world
This was called MGM at the time.
