  • More and more countries of the world are beginning to use alternative energy sources, including solar. Therefore, modest rooftop panels are being replaced by "solar farms" spread over vast areas. So, the fourth-largest solar power plant in the world, Benban Solar Park is located in Egypt, covers an area of 37 square kilometers, and generates a capacity of 1,650 MW. In third place is Shakti Sthala, located in the city of Pavagada in India. Its area is 50 square kilometers and has a capacity of about 2000 MW. The second is the Chinese Hainan Solar Park. It consists of 672 photovoltaic arrays and produces 2,200 MW. What is the largest solar power plant in the world and how is it arranged? Watch in our video!

It's pretty impressive how India pulled this off in a pretty short amount of time. Still a lot more to do but India is in the right direction. Making in water reduces the dust that gets stuck on solar panels.
Also, there won't be any issue to fisheries because adequate spacing is provided in between panels for light. Though, I agree that the water life will decrease a bit.

He asked, "How many years do you think it will take for the world to switch to renewable resources?"
It must be done as soon as possible if the world governments want to save their people from disastrous climate change. The effects are already being seen in areas where the people live on low lying land next to the oceans. Sea level rise is flooding some areas and it will become worse. Hurricanes and cyclones will do much more storm water flooding and damage.
This video said that the area was hot - 45 to 48 degrees C, and instead of almost uninhabitable, areas like this will grow and become completely uninhabitable.
The worst part is that some of the effects have occurred in a few decades and will be irreversible - it will take hundreds or thousands of years to put the melted ice back on Greenland or Antarctica. SMH..

Current government under Modi has set very big targets and they are keep achieving it on time for most. Infrastructure push of Modi will keep him power for at least 15 more years. If that will not happen, India will never become big leader. we see lots of international leftist lobbies have started working against him creating propaganda but 2019 he won very big and I hope 2024 he will get same!!

Bhadla is just the begining, In coming years, India will beat its own record every year in solar plants. Also, grandmother of all renewable projects are in pipeline as well, this will make India number 'one' once and for all! example: 13000 MW Laddkah solar park and 11000 MW Siang hydro plant in Arunachal are under works. The sleepy elephant 'India' is wide awake, and ready to dance now. And, when elephants dance, records are broken......they are broken real bad :)

It’s good to see how solar energy works but it’s also good to know where the materials used to build them are coming from and in which condition we’re getting them
Drcongo provides 60% of the world materials used for solar energy including electrical transportation
But in which condition we get those materials?
Millions of people already died from conflicts caused by army groups sponsored by multinational companies with complicity of the so called powerful nations
Are we going to stay quiet and let those innocent people being killed just because we want to drive a nice car or having electricity in house ?
We all concerned about what it’s going on right now in east of Congo
Take time to think how you love your family and the pain you would have you to loose your love one
Me and you we can give hope to those people who have been rejected and killed for no reason

Underneath the panels there is plenty of room for smog eaters, which vegetals love mostly the shadow to grow up eating the smog? The problem with solar is how to store energy for usage at night. Maybe we can create giant industrial lead acid battery station capable to store enough energy for night time. Lithion battery is good for mobile device and car but old technology like lead acid battery is feasible with permanent builing and large area to store those bateries. Instead making battery in small size container maybe we can create swimming pool size container?

this map at 4:52 is complete bogus. the village of bap is only a pond and the actual Bap is on the left side of the frame, here called phalodi. the map is turned 180°, so buttom is north. and the larger plants, that dwarfe these in the frame by factors of 5 or so, are 8 kilometres northwest of this one. Non of these come together to 57 km². Maybe if you add up all those fragmented plants in a 50 km radius of bap. there are a lot and they are large. but not not that large if measured alone.
