I've been begging Henry for years to make a volcanic pistol look alike chambered in .22lr. They already have a great foundation to build from with their golden boy.
Traywick Designs A: why are you replying at 1:50 AM lol B: on the website it gives a link to an etsy shop that has it painted, do they sell it disassembled
Henry would be the best company to do that in America, but I'm honestly surprised the usual suspects havent done one. I'd pay good money for one with a .22LR and .22 Short lifting block.
@@thesmallestminorityisthein4045 I am in the process of building one for .22 LR based on an Winchester 1873 small caliber (32-30) receiver and a .22 LR octagon barrel. Some parts I’ll need to refabricate like the elevator (to fit a .22 round) by smelting additional brass into the original elevator. Smith and Wesson came up with this idea originally and then teamed up with Henry and Winchester in the 1860’s I believe. This is what led to both the current (or until recent) Henry and Winchester repeating arms companies. They used the same elevator design until the late 1870’s or so, when they needed a new design for longer cases. It really is a novel design for a pistol (even today). Only if the cartridge was invented before this gun design.
1:05 when I'm on a first date and she asks me what are the things I'm most proud of myself.
Bahahahah, I had to go back and watch what you were talking about. Damn near spit my coffee everywhere
🤣🤣🤣
I wish they made reproductions of these that actually fired cases ammunition

There was a guy who made a one off that fired a shortened .40 S&W I have his drawings downloaded somewhere.
Awesome work! Definitely making a purchase from you shop!
Beautiful. Love these.
My dream pistol is a 22lr volcanic
Beautiful
Why can't some manufacturer make a .22lr or .22 magnum version of this pistol ? It'd sell especially if they keep the price reasonable
Thats cool
Is it possible to make an engraved or long barreled version of this or a pepperbox(six barrel flintlock pistol)?
need like a 38acp version
bad ass as hell
how much would the STL file cost?
You NEED to sell these 😂
I do, on my website:)

Oh and C: Xbox or PS4, would love to meet you!
is it possible to open the barrel and load fake bullets? for style points?
Hey, not on the Volcanic. The under barrel slide is just way to small to make it functional
Ah fair enough
Do you model these from scratch?
I did
неплох.
god damn it, who made a small henry rifle
what is it made of, plastic or metal?
It's made from pla pro plastic
Thx
Give me the material you used to build this !
Do you have an eBay store?
And do you sell these to NJ residents?
He has an etsy shop
Is it still possible to buy this kit or the printing files?
Yeah the kit is available on my website. We are closed down for new sales until after Christmas though
Can I still buy one of these on your website?
Sure can!:)
Could we get a free set of files for those whose have a 3d printer but don’t have the money to pay for them?
We need a reproduction chambered in .22

@@thesmallestminorityisthein4045 it's blatantly obvious at this design needs to be revived.

I’ve heard these were terrible guns, even for the time. Still pretty cool though
Yep, very much. Required 2 hands to cock, so not much of a pistol and not very powerful. But hey, sometimes style is all you need:)
still - we don't know how they sound
This is the 1840s version of the Taurus Judge, cool concept, badass looking, but very useless in reality
