Some of his most iconic looks have been Gucci and one of the nicknames he's trended as was literally Gucci-Jin. I don't know too many details of fashion, but the outfit looked amazing on Jin. His broad shoulders, slim waist and pretty collarbones worked so well for that shirt. I was blown away. It was almost entirely sequined but it looked warm and cozy like knitwear. But then he would move and it changed colors (due to the 2 tone sequins) so classily with the way it fit on him, I was mesmerized. That shirt was just chef's kiss on him.
Oh it's actually not two toned sequins! I saw this video of a lady breaking it down and it turns out the sequins are all brown only, its the yarn that was used for knitting thats blue! The sequins were positioned in such a way that when he moves or the observer moves, they get the glimpses of the blue yarn beneath the sequins and that's what gives it it's two toned patterning that seems to move with his body movements! The video was a tiktok but I saw it on Twitter

I was there together with thousends armys screaming jin's name to secure gucci and jin we were there for him. Only few people recognized Hanni, here almost nobody knows her. There was also n1 tennis player Sinner, but the loudest and longest cheer was for jin, and Sinner is italian!
it was obvious that very few shouted her name. When she was on the red carpet, no screaming. even outside the hotel and Gucci store, so many wait and scream for Jin. but for her, so few. in one video almost none but there was a fan she gave autograph since almost no one was there. and even when they left the airport, people who crowded her were mostly media. and no cheering. after her, a marker was placed on the floor where Jin will stop, wave and photos to be taken. VIP treatment. oops, that girl might complain to her mother hen that media and army mistreated her. with Jin, fans and media screamed. they even ran to the other part of the airport to see Jin again. it only shows there's a big disparity between Jin (and all BTS members) compared to these girls who feel so entitled and priveleged. their fans should stop their deluluness that their faves are already that BIG.

Learned more about Gucci than I thought I needed - I'm impressed with your research skills Sean! Jin's Vogue layout for the the jewelry line "Fred" was absolutely stunning!! Since returning from the military, he has a presence about him that I didn't see before. He's a man now. He looked gorgeous in Gucci. Will I buy anything Gucci? Nope. Jin and any member of BTS brings a presence to the companies they represent - they're priceless.
I am not Gucci person but now I’ve bought a couple of pieces, because I love Jin. And, I actually love the pieces. Don’t get me wrong I’m not frivolous shopper so bought pieces that would enhance what I already own lol 😂. I’m a jeans casual wear person, but I do love handbags and accessories. Economy is tight so I think the average consumer will still support Jin. The above average consumer will buy luxury pieces. I honestly love the line. If I had extra cash I might be willing to spend and be more extravagant. Loved the storyline/analogy of Gucci the whole competitive market between the houses, was great. I think Jin was a bit nervous because he is an introvert also is never around people that much plus the language barrier. I felt really bad for him being an introvert myself. But, my honest opinion he did great. Stepping out of his comfort zone without members is probably very hard but he did it. I was hooked on watching the videos of Jin arriving on the red Gucci carpet with the original audio. The Milan ARMYs did such a wonderful job with the purple ribbon, signs, and screams welcoming our Jin. Jin looked fine with his handsome face, wide shoulders, and narrow waist in the sweater and slacks. Wow! Poor thing though. Can you imagine him at the after party? He is so shy. Hi! About the plunging neckline, its actually not. The model for this wore it all buttoned up. We think that because Jin’s shoulders are really wide even though he is slender, they couldn’t button the tops all the way up. with the multitude of BTS fans screaming "kim seokjin!" and "jin!" jin was obviously the headline megastar of the gucci event. his megastar status was evident when gucci's creative director embraced him, and he was seated between kering CEO francois-henri pinault, who owns gucci, and chris martin's fiancee famous actress dakota johnson along with vogue editor anna wintour. he also topped the social media numbers during milan fashion week. too bad hanni was practically ignored in milan. hanni was nowhere in the top 10 in social media for milan fashion week. it's hard to be caught up in the shadow of a megastar like bts jin; hanni was just another starlet. reality bites when there's no paid korean media. must have been a humbling experience for her.
I read somewhere that he tried on Gucci hats but all those he tried were all too big for him. I think he ended up giving someone from Gucci a BH cap instead. Or maybe they asked if he had a spare so they can pattern it from that. I'd love for them to do that and name the cap after Jin.
Jin clearly explained on his live broadcast why he had BH cap on. There was no special ‘message’ to it. He had just woken up and to avoid showing bed hair he put BH cap on because Gucci caps do not fit him. He has asked them to make one for him now so stay tuned.
Jin's style is less is more. That's really classy. The clothes doesn't make him. Jin makes the outfit shine. Some ppl wear clothes to dress themselves up and get noticed, but this classy sophisticated style is for the person to get the looks, and then their clothing, jewelry, and accessories get noticed. The knitwear he was wearing was an excelent choice combined with his wide shoulders, perfect collarbone, high neck and beautiful bright complexion! I really liked he was sitting with Dakota because they looked so similar! Gucci designs were simple and had finesse but I liked better the leather pieces and long coats! Honey's presence was ok because of her healthy young vibe! Her outfit reminded me a bit of 90's youth clubbing look!
Excellent fashion 101 lesson. I agree with the Ralph Lauren spin you have. The brand does not change much, but maybe there is a clientele that depends on that. I do like the Kering Foundation’s work where Selma Hayek and her husband CEO Pinault help survivors of violence around the world , I believe this year is the 10th year anniversary. Might be nice to have Jin involved in that too as they have collaborated with organizations in South Korea.
Actually is the best collection since Tom Ford. Colors are Autumn I agree. Jin did a great job although bringing some other Korean next to him or actually paying for a translator right behind him (as Jisoo at some event in Paris some time ago) would worked better. If Gucci goes back to classy and elegant hand in hand with Jin it will certainly be a success for both.

Jin doesn't care about what he wears. He leaves that to his stylist. He grew up middle-class, not 'rich'. However, he was considered well-to-do compared to the other members. Jin has NO problem spending money. Loves to off his card for about everything. He's funny about it. Jin is also conservative when it comes to what he wears. It's nice to see Jin dressed in fitted clothing finally.

First and foremost, I am NOT interested in fashion and my own clothing reflects that. However, Jin's star power was undeniable. I keep looking for articles talking about how much attention this show garnered because of Jin. I don't think there has ever been a crowd like that before. One of the things I thought was not good was how Jin's outfit seemed to blend in with the background where he stood for pictures. The models also seemed to blend into the carpet on the runway. Jimin blew up sales for Dior and Tiffany. JK blew up Calvin Klein, Suga for Valentino. They sell out everything they wear. Securing one of the members is a guarantee the collection will sell out. I know that other idols are ambassadors also, but BTS has the magic touch.
Hobi has only done only one campaign with lv as the official ambassador, his first ever campaign went mega viral on x, locals were praising him left and right. He hasn't attended a single lv shows since he was announced as the official ambassador. That first ever fashion show he attends after getting discharged will hit different. Jin looked amazing in his Gucci pieces elegant, classy, pieces that could be worn any where and mix and matched with other things in a wardrobe. They looked like excellent staple pieces and the tones went well with his skin tones. The only thing I don't like is the split in the bottom of the trousers that won't work well with different shoes so makes the the trouser a little more limited with what the might be worn with other items in a Gucci or other non Gucci items.

I don't know too many details of fashion, but the outfit looked amazing on Jin. His broad shoulders, slim waist and pretty collarbones worked so well for that shirt. I was blown away. It was almost entirely sequined but it looked warm and cozy like knitwear. But then he would move and it changed colors (due to the 2 tone sequins) so classily with the way it fit on him, I was mesmerized. That shirt was just chef's kiss on him.
Oh it's actually not two toned sequins! I saw this video of a lady breaking it down and it turns out the sequins are all brown only, its the yarn that was used for knitting thats blue! The sequins were positioned in such a way that when he moves or the observer moves, they get the glimpses of the blue yarn beneath the sequins and that's what gives it it's two toned patterning that seems to move with his body movements! The video was a tiktok but I saw it on Twitter

I was there together with thousends armys screaming jin's name to secure gucci and jin we were there for him. Only few people recognized Hanni, here almost nobody knows her.
There was also n1 tennis player Sinner, but the loudest and longest cheer was for jin, and Sinner is italian!

it was obvious that very few shouted her name. When she was on the red carpet, no screaming. even outside the hotel and Gucci store, so many wait and scream for Jin. but for her, so few. in one video almost none but there was a fan she gave autograph since almost no one was there. and even when they left the airport, people who crowded her were mostly media. and no cheering. after her, a marker was placed on the floor where Jin will stop, wave and photos to be taken. VIP treatment. oops, that girl might complain to her mother hen that media and army mistreated her. with Jin, fans and media screamed. they even ran to the other part of the airport to see Jin again.
it only shows there's a big disparity between Jin (and all BTS members) compared to these girls who feel so entitled and priveleged. their fans should stop their deluluness that their faves are already that BIG.

Learned more about Gucci than I thought I needed - I'm impressed with your research skills Sean! Jin's Vogue layout for the the jewelry line "Fred" was absolutely stunning!! Since returning from the military, he has a presence about him that I didn't see before. He's a man now. He looked gorgeous in Gucci. Will I buy anything Gucci? Nope. Jin and any member of BTS brings a presence to the companies they represent - they're priceless.
I am not Gucci person but now I’ve bought a couple of pieces, because I love Jin. And, I actually love the pieces. Don’t get me wrong I’m not frivolous shopper so bought pieces that would enhance what I already own lol 😂. I’m a jeans casual wear person, but I do love handbags and accessories. Economy is tight so I think the average consumer will still support Jin. The above average consumer will buy luxury pieces. I honestly love the line. If I had extra cash I might be willing to spend and be more extravagant. Loved the storyline/analogy of Gucci the whole competitive market between the houses, was great. I think Jin was a bit nervous because he is an introvert also is never around people that much plus the language barrier. I felt really bad for him being an introvert myself. But, my honest opinion he did great. Stepping out of his comfort zone without members is probably very hard but he did it. I noticed Dakota Johnson ColdPlay Chris Martin’s partner was sitting next to Jin. She offered a few words of encouragement. Dakota Johnson & Chris Martin and ColdPlay are very good friends of Jin and BTS, so this was understandable that she would talk to Jin to try and calm his anxiety a bit. The clothing line that Jin wore was like indescribable like they were made for him. Jin is a walking Bazaar, Vogue, W Korea any magazine any camera, photographer any style dream man. I was hooked on watching the videos of Jin arriving on the red Gucci carpet with the original audio. The Milan ARMYs did such a wonderful job with the purple ribbon, signs, and screams welcoming our Jin. Jin looked fine with his handsome face, wide shoulders, and narrow waist in the sweater and slacks. Wow! Poor thing though. Can you imagine him at the after party? He is so shy. I think Jin is sending his own 'message' - he wore a Big Hit hat while travelling and on his pj gaming live.
I read somewhere that he tried on Gucci hats but all those he tried were all too big for him. I think he ended up giving someone from Gucci a BH cap instead. Or maybe they asked if he had a spare so they can pattern it from that. I'd love for them to do that and name the cap after Jin.

Jin clearly explained on his live broadcast why he had BH cap on. There was no special ‘message’ to it. He had just woken up and to avoid showing bed hair he put BH cap on because Gucci caps do not fit him. He has asked them to make one for him now so stay tuned.

Jin outshinned everyone and everything on this event! The knitwear he was wearing was an excelent choice combined with his wide shoulders, perfect collarbone, high neck and beautiful bright complexion! I really liked he was sitting with Dakota because they looked so similar! Gucci designs were simple and had finesse but I liked better the leather pieces and long coats! Honey's presence was ok because of her healthy young vibe! Her outfit reminded me a bit of 90's youth clubbing look!

I do like the Kering Foundation’s work where Selma Hayek and her husband CEO Pinault help survivors of violence around the world , I believe this year is the 10th year anniversary. Might be nice to have Jin involved in that too as they have collaborated with organizations in South Korea.

Actually is the best collection since Tom Ford. Colors are Autumn I agree. Jin did a great job although bringing some other Korean next to him or actually paying for a translator right behind him (as Jisoo at some event in Paris some time ago) would worked better. If Gucci goes back to classy and elegant hand in hand with Jin it will certainly be a success for both.

Jin has NO problem spending money. Loves to off his card for about everything. He's funny about it. Jin is also conservative when it comes to what he wears. It's nice to see Jin dressed in fitted clothing finally.

Jin has been doing great. He is classy, nice and down to earth and he is kind of introvert and do not enjoy being in social activities with people he does not know well bit here he is doing all these activities and owning it...he is amazing!💜

First and foremost, I am NOT interested in fashion and my own clothing reflects that. However, Jin's star power was undeniable. I keep looking for articles talking about how much attention this show garnered because of Jin. I don't think there has ever been a crowd like that before.
One of the things I thought was not good was how Jin's outfit seemed to blend in with the background where he stood for pictures. The models also seemed to blend into the carpet on the runway. Thank you for filling in information about the theme and where the color choice came from.
Jimin blew up sales for Dior and Tiffany. JK blew up Calvin Klein, Suga for Valentino. They sell out everything they wear. Securing one of the members is a guarantee the collection will sell out. I know that other idols are ambassadors also, but BTS has the magic touch.

Hobi has only done only one campaign with lv as the official ambassador, his first ever campaign went mega viral on x, locals were praising him left and right. He hasn't attended a single lv shows since he was announced as the official ambassador. That first ever fashion show he attends after getting discharged will hit different. I'm also looking forward to him being the ambassador for other brands. So far he's the only one who is the ambassador of one brand only. I'm so excited for hai return

JK also only has only one fashion brand (Calvin Klein but no jewelry) as have Namjoon (Bottega Venetta) and Yoongi (well... the NBA is NOT fashion).
Technically Hobi was in for LV fashion show at the same time as Jimin was for Dior - even if it was only later announced that Hobi was signed (again) for LV.

It was about Jin for me and his successful entry into being an ambassador for a brand. Totally pass the time of spending money on designer stuff, of which is now collecting dust in my closets, so I can only comment on the historical back story which was interesting. Nice job Sean.

I think gucci knowns bts and jin's star power and brand influences, its very rare to see something that the boys endorse not be sold out, and it doesn't matter how expensive it is, we've seen a $30,000 necklace be sold out cause a member partnered with the brand, whoever is running gucci rn knows what they are doing hiring jin
Omgg i never watch the house of gucci... but the similarity of the jezebelity is really something.
Jin looked amazing in his Gucci pieces elegant, classy, pieces that could be worn any where and mix and matched with other things in a wardrobe. They looked like excellent staple pieces and the tones went well with his skin tones. The only thing I don't like is the split in the bottom of the trousers that won't work well with different shoes so makes the the trouser a little more limited with what the might be worn with other items in a Gucci or other non Gucci items.
