That story about someone reaching out and saying that a portable fridge enabled them to get out on a longer adventure was really cool. BY FAR, my favorite part about having a channel is hearing that I played some (tiny) part in someone getting inspired to get out or feeling confidence they didn't have before to explore. Cheers to you, sir!
Beautiful! Just got my Bronco Everglades a month ago (same color), and these types of off roading adventures are exactly why I got it. Love your set up! Also appreciate the work you've put into these videos. Quality is *chefs kiss*!
Thank you so much and congratulations on your new bronco! They are such a capable vehicle for this type of travel. I love it and I hope you’re enjoying yours as well!
We spent the day at this spot and crossed paths with you on our way back down! Great to see what the potential is when it’s all clear. We barely had any view of the mountain.
Dude we’re you in the 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton? Hunting in the area? That’s so cool! It’s an awesome spot though! If you’re there when the weather is conducive it doesn’t get much better!
We spent a night at this spot, same cloudy rainy day, in the morning it cleared to a beautiful view of the Mt!! Did you see bunny, lol… he was hanging with us the whole time!! Beautiful shots man!!
Cool video. So... I’ve watched a lot of your videos. I’ve seen you “ practice “ your fire making skills as you say with your flint. I was cracking up when you busted out the torch to light this fire. Lol.
Hey bud new subscriber here, I watched the Oregon episode my first one and subscribed right away. I believe your going to get huge fast. May you have safe travels and I'm going to watch you grow
Thanks so much Michael! The channel has seen tremendous growth this year. I started the year at 8k subs I think. It’s been awesome to see the growth! I appreciate you watching and I’m glad you enjoy my videos. The owyhees are simply incredible. I need to go back
Man, last time I was at Mt. Rainier, I set out with the same goal to get the perfect vantage point. Then … I got spooked by a mountain lion. Some day, I need to get back there and conquer my fear of that place. It was such a close encounter, I still get chills thinking about it. 🦁😮
Oh man really!? I haven’t ran in to one at all but honestly they freak me out way more than a bear. Those things are no joke. Maybe you and I can get a trip in the area one of these days
Good morning David the second camping spot that you went to. I think I know what the places but I’m not going to announce it also looks like I’ve been at that river spot to thank you for sharing pictures of MT Rainier a lot of people that live in the area have never been up to the mountain surprisingly I do like the fact that lesson 5 miles from my house I can get a good view of the MTRainer 😊
@@OFFTHEGRIND I disabled the double honk, and added sport mode. I have a spreadsheet of all the codes and info on how to do it if you want I can send it to you.
Looks like you're not far from Miners Ridge, I've only been near there a couple times but it looks good. Normally I am farther south somewhere between Elbe and Packwood but while I do have a fully equipped 4Runner I'm more into hiking than offroading, I ride with my dog(female Husky) so we need our leg time and that is my normal goal. There are some great views from the south side though, but as of now the cold weather is in town and not going to leave for several months, I still debate going out camping in the sub-freezing temperatures and I'm pretty well equipped to deal with it, it's just that I'm in my mid 60s and cold plus arthritis = pain and I'm not really into pain this week..
I’d really like to explore that area more as well and else what kind of views I can find. But I get it with the cold weather. I’m 34 but have not been kind to my body so it definitely effects me at time.
Another awesome video! I think it would be incredibly fulfilling to know that you played a role - even a small one - in helping someone to be able to explore thier horizons because of a refrigerator. The things some of us take for granted are another person's game-changer. Keep up the good work and I hope you realize your goal of 20,000!
Living here in Florida I sure do envy you for having such beautiful places to overland. Retiring next year and we are selling everything and hitting the road. Can’t wait to make it to the PNW. Really enjoy your videos. Safe travels.
Hello, love your video! I have a Badlands with a BadAssTents Rack. I hate it and was wondering what rack system you have? The rack I have with the Moly side extensions rattle so bad that they become disconnected and damaged my paint. I want something that doesn't squeak and rattle horrible going down the trail. Any recommendations? Thanks again!
Hey thank you!! I use a TrailRax TRMR rack. Hands down the best rack on the market for a bronco. There’s a link in my description for it, but it has the highest weight capacity of anyone on the market because of their patented two pax which helps distribute the weight. I absolutely LOVE this rack
What trail is this? Ive been binge watching your videos. I have a 97 4runner im waiting to do more exploring in. We use a pop up tent because we have 2 dogs. Its hard to sleep in the runner with the pup. I dont trust her 100% out of a kennel
I get that for sure. I don’t take my pups too often, but it’s a little stressful when we do for the same reasons. But I don’t like to share locations publicly. I’m sure you will respect the area and take care of it, but that doesn’t mean someone else won’t find a comment that I share the location and end up trashing it. I hope you understand… I will say this is north of mt. Rainier within 30* either side of true north
Very curious as to which drone you use for your aerial and trail following shots. Im currently in the process of starting my build for overloading and hope to be on the trails exploring by winter 2024
@@OFFTHEGRIND OH I already do!! I have a 2016 Renegade Trailhawk that has been all over the US. Going up to Alaska again this summer and it’s an amazing drive. But never really thought about documenting or sharing my experiences until recently
@@Outcast_overlanding oh okay good! That’s awesome! We’ll I’m sure you know exactly what you need out of an overland build then! Alaska is really high on my list. Can’t wait to explore it myself

This is not an answer you are going to like I don’t think. But I just drive down roads that look interesting to me. There are certainly resources you have for trip planning. OnX off road for example. They have all sorts of trails listed and how long they are. But I would learn how to read a topo map cause that is going to be a huge help. OTG20 for 20% off an onx elite membership if you want. Also, there’s a website called overland trail guides that has a ton of overland routes that are typically around a week long. Some shorter some longer. That’s a good place to start too

Thanks man! I agree!
Glad i found this channel. Another one added to the bucket list.
Once again you outdid yourself. Thanks for taking us along.
Thank you so much! And of course!
Incredible video. My girlfriend and I have a Badlands Bronco and are based in LA, but your video makes us want to relocate up the coast!

That view first thing in the morning was well worth the trials faced to make it happen! Cheers to the adventures forward!
100%!! That’s why we do this after all right? Cheers!!
Very neat! Great shots of the mountain.
Fantastic shots, again and again. I really dig the levels you have the soundtrack at. It's a pleasant change to more in-your-face mixes. Cheers.

Such a cool story about the fridge🙌🏻 Those sunset shots looked amazing! Great video man
