LOL dude as a retired military veteran Yellow is yellow. Do you know how many people have yellow on their 3D printed RC planes. The military used colors do denote what type of equipment is being used. Red, blue, yellow, black, green, purple, white are all used by the military. with that said have you actually ever seen any missiles or rockets that use yellow denoting armed munitions. in the navy they use and remove red flags for armed munitions

Add a camera to the nose to bring the CG forward. I love this design. I think it would be a great field launched ISR platform. It could be assembled quickly and launched without the worry of self injury. It looks like it could loiter on a single battery charge for a while and its forgiving flight envelope is good for inexperienced pilots.
Its easy to understand why people get excited over this. Wait all that time to print and finish. Hoping it doesn't just fall apart on the way to the first flight. Then it just flies! And great! Awesome job!

I had a few wings - including 1 I just found / still in the box: "Go Discover PnF 1600mm FPV flying wing" Same concept, detachable cone, perfect spot for a cam. And/or a gimbal if it fits. Anxious to build again now. haha

maybe you could change the pins to be shorter and fatter and add another set of magnets to make the nose section more robust in case of a high speed air to ground convergence??
If you add a battery tray on a slider with a servo you can get the CG dialed in on the fly(heh) instead of having to land multiple times to adjust, even if its just for prototyping. If you make it modular, you could just swap it over to every new design during testing.
DUDE! If you cut out nose where the glossy black part is, and replaced it with a clear nose, you could TOTALLY have a camera inside with a swivel and use it as an FPV!
I love your plane designs. Do you have any designs that can print on a 180mm print bed? The Bambu A1 mini is one of the best entry level printers out there for the money, but the bed is only 180mm, and most 3D print planes seem to be made for 200mm beds.
You might want to print the next one with a dart needle on the nose to really get that lawn dart appearance down pat. Just kidding, it happens to the best of us and as frequent as you're in the air Murphy will show up sooner or later. Very cool yet again.
Anything that flies is a good fpv platform 😊 The fpv gear will add some leveraged weight to the nose. Your cg bumps are probably spot on with an average camera and vtx.
@@markmiranda2881 weight distribution is the tricky part with FPV, it also needs to be extremely stable for when you throw and transition to the goggles. Also some built in self leveling helps with landing while in FPV because you can’t really judge your speed as well as when your line of sight flying. 👍🏻
@hotlapkyle totally! I fly freestyle and racing drones in goggles all the time. Flying slow, hovering, and landing definitely require some practice with a fixed camera, especially with 45-55 degrees on racing drones.

1254 what is this bulgy business in the ducting about.! if those contours are on the inside as well, you have created UNWANTED expansion chambers in front of the edfs. obviously, if/when the auw is increased and the battery cell count stays the same, the thrust to weight ratio will change.

Hollow out the front pins on the nose cap. In case the pins snap you’ll still be able to use an easy out to remove broken pins. Just a thought… 9:05

WRONG. the distribution of mass (dom) will change. the 'new' dom will need to be 'tuned' so that the cg stays in the right place.
now to figure out thrust vectoring nozzles... :D
the shahed kamakazi drones have the vert stabs on the wing ends....maybe try that instead. this looks like same form factor as those.
