Lighten your tongue up then dude. From what you commented it sounds like you're trying to push the tongue super super on the top. Don't get me wrong theres definitely pressure but dont just push as hard as you can with maximum pressure because it gives you no space to breath in to get the drag!

@@nicholaschan2518 it's not simultaneous. You stop the inward click roll, do the throat kick and then do the inward click roll. It all happens very quickly. I might be wrong

Sweet!!! And definitely man! I know a ton of people can roll their tongue and use he sides for the drags and even slizzer rolls. I cannot twist my tongue at all so I worked on it from the center tip of my tongue
Definitely is a tricky one to understand fully! I try to not teach closed mouth because its like a cheat. You can get the pressure with using no breath yet never will work on the mic and is super super quiet. So It's definitely harder the way I teach it, but more sufficient in the long run.

Idk the exact name of the sounds but I use the technique of slizzer rolls, and the same breathing intake as inward drags so I called them click drags?? I don't know the exact name. Also, total i think 10 hats on my wall, but 17 hats total? I got a bunch! lol

Practice for a bit! If you're just learning this sound you have to work on it before you can just throat kick. Kind of like I explained in the video at 4:30 you're not going to just learn this and boom its mastered its a progression sound and you have to work on developing the tongue muscles and breath control
Dj b3an’s tutorial is insufficient for me, both of them. The closest I understand is your squeezing your throat, constricting it and still trying to force vocals out which results in a type of constructed vocal fry that you can pitch down and make it way more bass-y and grimey and guttural like tomazacre’s

Bro how can I use other beats like spit snare, kicks while doing inward bass. When I do it my inward bass just cuts off, am I doing my spit snare wrong?
Smh cold Blood I had to like... mentally picture the bmg snare and kick being lip sounds, and the inward bass being a vocal sound. Picturing that helped to do them at the same time, but at first it felt scratchy and almost ticklish to do them at the same time. If that makes sense?

Smh cold Blood your probably doing them wrong, they release pressure not really air, although it’s safe to assume your doing the kick right, it’s pretty difficult to mess up a kick. I personally find it easier to do a kick with inward bass if I tighten my lips a little more than when I normally do a kick
With the bmg snare your making a pocket of air in your lip (top or bottom) and releasing it with pressure. So your not actually exhaling at all, that’s why your able to do inward bass with it. Edit: I’m pretty sure some people can even make the pockets of air on the sides of the mouth/ in their cheeks and do the snare that way. (Just comment again if you need to ask a question, I don’t mind)

Doesn't matter what I try and what they say I should do, I literally do it and nothing happens. I eventually learned the "Slizzer Roll", but to be honest, that's not the same :l I hope one day I'll learn it! The tutorial is amazing tho!!!

@@bamboom8055 clickroll is created by turning your tongue on it's side and placing the bottom of the side of your tongue against the roof of your mouth and breathing through that connection, this one is easier but not as good as the actual clickroll, clickroll also has sub bass potential and this really doesn't

This sound took me 2 months to get down when i found it myself. For some people its easier to constrict airflow by closing their lips a bit
