I'm not even a big Megadeth fan and I know this piece is a work of art. This guy reviewing has clearly no appreciation for metal. One of the greatest metal songs ever written and he dismisses it out of hand.
The middle section of the song, where he talks about his wife and baby being killed, was a homage to “The Punisher” comic books, as several of the members of the band were big fans of it.
"the riffs are not that good...." ok then. I honestly would like to know what you think are good riffs. I do agree Dave tends to just shred through his solo's and not nearly as melodic/thought out as Friedman's solo's
