It has been a busy few weeks. Quick update on what we have been up to! #saltyroots #saltwater #saltwateraquarium #reef #reefing #reefkeeping #coral #fish #fishtank #aquarium #DIY
10 is better than bottled water, mine is 300+, you have high standards lol, tank looks great at the end, could have sworn I saw two Banggai cardinalfish when you were filling the tank?
@@Lee-he2qp I didn’t realize how high TDS can be for others! I agree, I should be very happy. Didn’t have Banggai Cardinals right away but I actually do have two of them in there now.
@@Saltyrootsjax your sediment filter depends how long it had been running did look ready for a change, but that catches solids, shouldn’t really affect your TDS dissolved solids, probably why you were thinking 10 was high from looking at your sediment filter…might be worth moving to a 1 micron sediment filter if you’re using 5, they are near enough the same price where I am.
Off to a good start. Enjoy Florida bro!
Thanks, Mike!
i’ve moved my tank twice but that was 150 gallons i don’t think i can do again with that size. my TDS is 540-570. coming in.
I had a 300 and 125 in Indianapolis but there was no way I was going to attempt moving those. 540 to 570?!?! Wow! Where do you live?
