WAS IT WORTH IT? Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tour

- I visited the home of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club for their epic stadium tour.
Their brand new stadium replaced White Hart Lane a few years ago and cost them over £1b! When I went, the NFL branding was up and ready for the American football as the Miami Dolphins take on the Jacksonville Jaguars.
From the changing rooms to Spurs' UEFA Cup trophies, this is one impressive stadium tour!!!

Please do visit, you are gonna see a few trophies there at the pride of London.
@Antonio Feeling Sorry for you dude. Your neighbours are in lot better place. You might have to beg them to see a Champions league trophies if you don't wanna go far from your city or even to see how the new trophies look up close.
Even as a Gooner I have to admit they built an awesome looking stadium.
It will always be The Armitage Shanks
Have to disagree there. Sure it has all the high tech bells and whistles, but from above it looks like a toilet bowl. Now I'm not a gooner, but it does remind me of the bog.
just means a nice stadium for spurs fans to celebrate st totteringhams day
@@chadchadderton them days are long gone. We've overtaken you. Arsenal can't make money like tottenham. Arsenal done out here
@@zukispur5493 that’s just not the case lmfao. arsenal are still the second biggest club behind united in terms of market. arsenal raw revenue data has shown a drop because the team has seen some down years but tottenham are still far behind the market value of arsenal and will be forever. it’s actually moronic to think tottenham have passed arsenal in any metric. i mean the longest streak tottenham has of finishing above arsenal in the last 3 decades is 4 years…. LMFAO. arsenal at their worst are still bigger than spurs
That is a truly awesome stadium. A real cathedral of football. A real tribute in effect to fellow fans that lost their lives at Hillsborough. I actually think it’s a real thing of beauty.
They forgot to bring the football gods.
“Cathedral of football” 😂😂😂😂 don’t think your in the correct video
No disrespect but Spurs had nothing to do with Hillsborough. You on the right video?
Not sure of this 100% but I think a Spurs fans died after going to the match with their mate. His name was Andrew sefton

Not a Spurs fan. But this must be one of the greatest stadium in the world.
I really hope one day, I will be able to step in to that stadium to support my team. Much love to football been watching it
here in the Philippines.
It's even more impressive live .
really really rare football fan from the Philippines 😂
@@iphonexswallpaper3172 Yeah pretty much, I have no one to talk to about the PL or any other football league 😂
There's a rumour that 30 years ago the cleaning lady lost the key to the trophy cabinet, and they only noticed it was missing when moving to this new stadium.
The way things are going Arsenal and ManU won't be needing much dusting in their trophy rooms either.
And yet your on a spurs app

Life long Spurs supporter, and a season ticket holder for 20 years. The stadium is amazing, and having travelled around Europe, can tell you it is the best stadium. Unfortunately our squad falls short of the stadium, and our supporters lack the passion the stadium deserves.
The old girl White Hart Lane was incredible for atmosphere 👏
6 mnths later, how much has change #COYS

@@georgefleming1305 😂
@@georgefleming1305 I remember them bottling the league and fourth place.
I’m a West Ham fan. To be honest I am envious of what they have for that stadium. Kept their tradition and local community hasn’t been effected. If anything the local businesses have been rewarded for it. Unlike my club who have left behind all their history, community and have no identity anymore. This really hurts saying this about Tottenham but fair play.
You are so right mate. .... it was absolutely gutting and heart breaking for a lot of long time local businesses in West Ham when they moved.
At Tottenham though because it is has been built on the same site the local businesses have actually thrived.
Obviously the attendances have increased from 36,000 to 62,000 and to help ease traffic congestion and railway station over crowding the.club have kept the food and drink prices inside the stadium very reasonable. This has lead to people staying in the ground longer after the game. .... they even have live bands and other entertainment.
Last time I went it was 4 pounds for a pint of Amstel and a fiver for Beavertown which is unbelievably brewed on site.
I just love your channel and content. This is a fantastic stadium, quite possible the best in the world, I say this as an Arsenal fan. Thank you..
Thank you, that's nice to hear! And yeah totally agree the stadium is absolutely class. An example for others to follow!

Came down from Liverpool to watch the second NFL game here this week, it is such a cool stadium to experience! I was in in South stand and it holds such a good atmosphere as it wraps around that side of the pitch, can only imagine what it's like for a Spurs game! (Also loved how there was a church right next to the stadium, convenient for Spurs fans to pray before every game lmao)
Church? We don't go in for that religious nonsense.
Lol they need to pray. It must be very hard to be a Spurs fan 😂
celtic are better team than spurs
Wrong religion
Shame you had to watch stop start, change your entire team every 10 mins catch ball. If the Americans think nfl is ever gonna catch on around the world they're forgetting one thing, rugby union is a far tougher more exciting game.
an amazing stadium they have. great vid as always Sam!
Referencing the UEFA cup win against Wolves in 1972 a fantastic book about that era is "The Glory Game" by Hunter Davis. He is a journalist/ writer who was embedded with the team during the 71-72 season. It gives a great perspective of the club, the players and staff and the folks around it. It is also interesting to see the changes in top class football in 50 years and the social attitudes and the prices of the time ( a tracksuit from the fledgling club shop was £4 !!!; The playing SQUAD was valued at nearly £1,000,000;) Well worth reading if you can get a copy.
Spurs fan here
I was born down there but moved up north when I was 5. I’d love to come down and see this beautiful stadium in person
I’ve been to the old White Hart Lane but this new stadium is just unbelievable
Probably one of the best in Europe at the moment
The only purpose built NFL stadium in the UK
Thank you for this video and great camera work
I’ve done this stadium tour before, and I don’t think I can explain it. It was just the best tour I’ve ever done
Heres my favourite thing about this stadium. Back in the Early 90s paul Gascoigne was mucking about with an air rifle at WHL and shot the Cockerell above the stand, denting it. The new Cockerell at the new Stadium has kept the same dent in it.
Enjoyed that. Your camera work during the montages is superb.
Top man thank you Ross!
This is awesome mate, I’m a spurs fan but live in Scotland so it’s hard for me to get down to the stadium but always watching the games and watching your vids. Keep up the great work mate!!

Thanks for the great videos Sam looking forward to the Arsenal and Chelsea vlogs. Once your able to you should visit Adelaide Oval and Perth (Optus) Stadium here in Australia.
I laughed my ass out when I saw that trophy cabinet 😅😅😅🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
As a Spurs season ticket holder of many years, I was very sad to see WHL go, but time stops for no man. I am very self critical of my club but I've been to the Bernebau, Camp Now, San Siro etc. and nothing is as good as this stadium. It truly is a sight to behold and I get a buzz every time I visit. Now all we need, is a team worthy of such a venue.
Ah those CL nights at some of the footballing cathedrals in this world. Would love to experience those kind of nights 👍👍👍
COYS
Camp Nou and once they finish renovating it it'll bet better lmao. Love Spurs and the stadium is a beauty but heritage trumps money any day.
Not as a multi use venue, the idea is to create funds and support local people, will camp nou have a gp practice, or an F1 endorsed gokart track designed for young driver training?
Awesome stadium, best I've ever been and seen. I've been in the South Stand for their first home game. Truly unbelievable - the ground is amazing.
As a spurs fan I would like to return the compliment as craven cottage I have loved forever, best location in london next to thames and bishop's park - remember with superstadiums come super admission prices 😮 and now I hear fulham charge up to £80 -£100 just to sit in the new riverside stand - at least you and brentford are in the prem and if only chelsea would disappear !!!!!!
There are other touches, beyond the aggregate. From the Cockerel, which was recreated larger from a 3d scan, to the former centre spot, to the bricks used in the bar, and listed buildings within the stadium.

Fantastic video! Nice touch explaining the surrounding properties
Really nicely edited. I never knew how to make things like this entertaining but you have brilliant pacing and editing.
Very impressive stadium , the presentation and pleasent narration wasn't too shabby either . Well done .
Beautiful stadium that is great for their community.
Really is a superb piece of architecture!
And, as you pointed out, the standards are very high all through the stadium.
Definitely one id like to visit, although the skywalk may just be beyond my bravery boundaries 😳
Mine too Andrew.
Next time do the Spurs skywalk, go on, to dare is to do. (PS okay, I chickened out when I visited). Great video, especially pointing out the stuff beyond the football day - impact on community and multi-purpose aspects. As a Spurs fan it's great to see all the positive comments below, really proud of this stadium. (A little shout out for Daniel Levy on this).

The absolute only thing I like about tottenham as an Arsenal supporter is their stadium. Hands down, its really great
There are two types of people who watch this video, the one who amaze with the stadium and the one who jealous (usually they mentioning the trophy)
Did the tour with my two kids about a month ago and loved it.
Looks quality, I need to get to a Tottenham game
Ancient trophies in a futuristic stadium... what a juxtaposition !
Even as a City fan, Spurs stadium is unbelievable

Good stuff. Miss the old gaff and when I held a season ticket there pre pandemic. I was there that night in April 2019 when it opened. Great night. Snow flurry in April. Sonny and Eriksen 2-0 v Palace
I am in London for the West Ham vs Man City carribo cup game; only been to the old white heart Lane in the 1970s. The new stadium looks amazing. My game today is Oldham vs Stevenage and tomorrow. Everton vs West Ham. Enjoy your London trip. Pop down to Aldgate and have a plate of Jellied eels.

Amazing stadium. The future home of London’s 🏈 team too I would imagine. When England starts up their own league.
Class stadium. Like a top of the range American stadium. Who ever in England who gets the next big stadium after Tottenham will be getting something unreal
Will you do match day vlog in PL? If you do then which match it Will be..
Glad the stadium was kept were it was and not moved to a retail park sandwich between B and M and sports direct and car park sharing with Morrisons supporting their businesses rather than the local shops.
They kept it local, natural, traditional.
You mentioned that you wish there were a few more touches of the old White Hart Lane stadium - in the south stand on the floor the spot of the old centre circle is marked (the new pitch is slightly north of where the old pitch was). There is also a time capsule buried in the west atrium. In Lilywhite House (the offices on the north side of the stadium) there is the original golden cockerel stood on a ball from the old stadium - complete with dent allegedly caused by Gazza and an air rifle. The dent is preserved in the new ball and cockerel mounted on the roof of the new south stand because the old one was 3d scanned and scaled up.
Funny story about the Cockerel: You may have heard of Irving Scholar, who almost single-handedly destroyed the club with his takeover in the 70s. There was a rumour going around that inside the Cockerel, there was a hoard of Gold Sovereigns. Things got so bad under Scholar, that he hired a crane to lift the cockerel so that it could be opened up just in case the rumour was true. It wasn't.
Everyone thinks its a £1 billion stadium. Its not. The entire PROJECT is £1 billion, including hotel & apartment complex behind South Stand which is the next phase. Stadium itself cost £450-500 million.
Lovely stadium👍👍its always a nice away day for a cup finall!!!!🤣😂⚒⚒⚒⚒⚒⚒⚒
