Great idea for traveling or those who really could use some art therapy but don't feel like scrounging around for supplies or ideas! Does this case have a board cover or is it soft?
I’ve never come across that reverse colouring in a book. I guess it’s the printed version of when you paint first and then ink afterwards. The closest I’ve seen is books that give you ideas of what to doodle, or it’s a half drawn page for you to finish it off using your own imagination. I like the case that it comes in. Looks like it would make a nice travel art kit after you’ve finished with the colouring book!
I don’t think of “vibrant” when I think of watercolor (maybe I use too much water?). These paints are vibrant! Thank you for going through this. Even with the weird sizing and cut off images it is a nice little package. I like the little carrier, it can be taken and eventually refilled. Curious about the pen, strange choice.
I think ordinary watercolour can be both subdued and vibrant - just depends on what pigments you choose. That’s why I love it as a medium. yes the pen was way too chunky for me
Love this! And those color sheets! I love British English. I have a steady diet of BritBox so I feel a bit like I like in the UK. I visited last year for 1 month and in 2025 I will do again in Dec.
@@LizChadertonStudio London, Liverpool, Cardiff, Straford upon Avon, Edinburgh, Cotswolds, Southampton, Chester....what a lovely trip. Wish my ancestors had stayed in the UK. Oh and passed by Northumberland when Vera was filming!! But didn't see her. Rats.
This is art as self soothing (which is actually a lovely thing) rather than Art Therapy. Kinda wish manufacturers and advertisers stopped using AT as a term for relaxation/soothing because it is a very specific form of psychotherapy that requires the same level of rigorous postgraduate training an any other type of psychotherapy (and involves talk therapy combined with art making around specific issues that can be pretty intense, so Art Therapists need to be skilled in dealing with trauma). In itself there is nothing wrong with calling it that, but it just perpetuates a misunderstanding of the field that is really persistent and the work of Art Therapists gets misunderstood and underestimated. I am currently going through the training myself and it’s completely kicking my a**. It is not for the faint hearted!
It’s a really lovely product otherwise - love the denim-y jute wallet it comes in and all the little added touches. Probably would make a lovely gift for someone who is going through a tough time and has not been introduced to art before. They might find the colouring helpful. It’s quite sweet!
@@LizChadertonStudio aaah, that’s so nice of you! My comment was more aimed at the manufacturers than you but thank you so much for going back and changing it! ❤
Hullo Liz, I am not sure why these are being marketed along with InkTober supplies? I liked the previous InkTober kits Viviva put out, I am just not so sure about these. I have liked the new products they are making, the cork palettes are quite nice too! They are not just color sheets, but the Peerless Brand has been making color painting sheets for many, many years and they were the first dye based watercolors I ever tried, they are quite nice too! Thanks for laying out this relaxing kit and I hope others might give it a go too.
@@LizChadertonStudio The Peerless sheets are bigger and they have more colors, but Viviva has better packaging and design for use. Cuter You might say.
The kits on the set dont show this coloring book. It has one called around the world. If the mandala one was being sold I would have bought it but im not seeing it as an option.
I emailed Viviva and apparently there is a web issue. If you follow this link and use the code LizChadertonArt, you can choose the variant you want: www.indiegogo.com/projects/viviva-meditate-with-art-spa-for-your-mind/reft/24291624/LizChadertonArt
Thank you for this wonderful video Liz. My gosh you make me laugh. I just love your creativity.

you are right and I have changed the title at least, though I can’t change the video without totally redoing it. Good luck with your studies.

I like the 365 days of art series for relaxation and motivation.
I don’t know that. I will take a look.
What size is this A5 or A6?
A5
You could paint your own pictures on the back. It’s very heavy paper
that’s a good idea
Yes, it is Not art therapy, which is conducted by and with a licensed therapist.
you are right. I have changed the title
