Btw, I noticed na sa actual demo ( 2:37 ), hindi naka vintage tuners yung Gigline, whereas sa side-by-side comparison ng Gigline variants ( 11:51 ), nakalagay na vintage tuners yung cheapest variant. 🤔

if you give me a blind test, i wouldn't know which one is which. the only point for scrutinizing the difference in sound is the seeing which one is being played pero pag blind test talaga, we'll never know. i'm surprised that RJ guitars have gotten better in quality and magkakatalo na lang sa personal preference ng overall fell of the guitar. nice vid pax
Hindi ko alam pero may something sa RJ Guitars na gustong gusto ko. And nung afford ko na hindi ako nagdalawang isip na bumili sa birthday sale nila 2 years ago ngkanilang Gigline Series. I was amining for a strat type but ended up with their Broadcaster and I love it. Keep it up and thank you Sir Ramon Jacinto. Thank you for this awesome vid Pax ❤

Maiintindihan mo din why it is priced more than sa Gigline, significant enough yung difference sa tone and pansin agad sya ng seasoned guitarists, mas controled yung tunog and much warmer yung CV, while sa gig line is medyo less refined, manipis, at medyo kalat.
Dun naman sa swap ng pick ups, the poplar body still plays a big role sa tunog ni CV, tandem talaga sila ng pick ups, though nahabol ng konti pero kulang pa din, di talaga nag tunog classic vibe yung gigline.
By all means ok si RJ Gigline at super decent guitar nya na at that price point, pero we can still see clearly yung difference kahit pakinggan mo ng di naka ear phones.
If music is your source of income and puhunan mo ang tone mo, go for classic vibe, pero if for hobby lang, tugtog lang sa events and occasional band gigs lang, go for RJ
halos same naman kapag distorted. kailangan lang ng liit bass boost or i-taas kunti ang bass side ng pickups
@@ilemrazagree! another contribution sa tone as an artist is yung amp na gamit mo, kahit loaded yung gitara mo kung neglected yung amp mo affected din yung overall sound, idagdag mo pa yung pedal effects. Mahirap talaga, end of the day its still a musicians preference of sound and tone. In terms of guitar alone hindi nag kakalayo at wala ring one is better than the other. Kudos to Pax for putting up this video.

about the tone wood - in aaron rash's custom mustang video theres a noticeable difference between the signature guitar and yung custom na pinagawa niya, and yung custom has a closer tone sa in utero kesa sa kurt cobain signature ahaha

Same tayo ng naririnig lodi Pax. Mas bright si RJ kesa kay Squire sa unang set ng tests. Pero sa solo mode, almost same na sila ng output for me. Napaka ganda ng contrast ng comparison video na ito. Salute lodi Pax! Tugtog lang!

kukuha ako nyan pag nagka 7 string sila like Iconic. That strat sound plus that low register sounds heaven! ala Joshua Dela Victoria
I still prefer the Classic Vibe kahit na mas mahal siya. The pickups sounded better. It has a higher output than the Rj.
You could get the RJ and upgrade the pickups with your preferred pickups and it would still be cheaper than the classic vibe (including labor to install said pickups if you can’t do it yourself)
@@chocolaa-p2689 not to me. I'd rather buy the classic vibe with all stock rather than buying the rj then uprading parts and electronics

COMPARING BA KAMO?! this is my first time na makapanuod na ng comparing ng guitar pero hindi na kuntento pinagpalit pa ang mga hardwares hehehe para lang ng troubleshoot ng pc.. iba pala talaga impact ng kahoy sa mga gitara. panibagong sulit na review nanaman.. :)

definitely RJ has a brighter tone because of the body and stainless frets.
Grabe tama nga ako ng hinala. Nag comment ako dun sa post mo sa fb sir pax na tingin ko mas matapang/bright yung tunog ng gigline. I don't know pero yun talaga napapansin ko sa mga guitars ng rj. Kahit dun sa super vintage ganun din. Siguro dahil dun sa way nila ng paggawa ng pick ups...and lastly nagulat ako nung pinagpalit yung pick ups halos walang nabago. Wood has tone talaga.
Sir Pax anong gitara kaya mayroong ganyang kulay, with 2 point tremolo bar na kayang mag floating trem at price lang niya ay 7-12k lang?
I think wala factor yung wood sa tone, mas higher output yung Squier dahil sa pickups. Probably same ang sound nila pag same sila pickups, bridge, strings... ✌️

Wood has little to no effect on sound - more on feel, structural stability. Mas malaki impact ng pick-ups! Alnico 3 vs 5 is the difference maker. When you swapped it tho, you didn't account for string height/and or might be difference on pick-up height. Saddles will also affect tone.
Also damn that gigline special edition tho wild looks.
Wood has an effect, it was already proven with Scientific tools connected to electric guitars.. meron dito sa youtube noong video na yun, hanapin mo na lang.

Sir. Pax, anong pickguard po ang fit sa RJ Gigline skycaster standard since mag-kaiba ang neck joint slot niya compared to other guitars, ’yung pickguard po ng other guitars are curvy po ang neck joint, and sa Rj Gigline po horizontal lang.

Maganda clean nong rj pero may character kasi yung squier. Dun sya lumamang. Pero kung sa price rj ako haha. May squier affinity ako balak ko magupgrade ng pickups at tuners. Try ko yung rj na alnico

Curious parin ako if ilang pieces young alder body ng RJ, and was the flamed maple a veneer or a AAA flamed maple top. Obviously underwound yung mga pickups ng RJ besides the thinner magnets kaya manipis pankinggan.
