Even after playing such an unimaginably original and perhaps one of the most landmark teentaal solos, he still has the humility to self deprecate by labeling it as a "piece of sh*t..."(not sure why he said that). I am completely moved by the tributes of Pandit Kiran Deshpande and Supreet-ji. Pandit Kiran-ji opines..."May our remaining years of life add to this maestro genius of Tabla". I think this is one of the finest tributes to the greatest tabla player of all time.

Hello Mr. Patel, I believe this is raag MIshra Kammaj according to my limited knowledge of raga and some research. The komal n is standard both in accent and decent along with constant use of komal d which is reminiscent of Bhairavi however the g is always shuddah giving it a kafi/ kammaj feel at the top part. I am not 100 percent sure on this. Just my opinion. Food for thought.
The raag Charukeshi is also viable in regards to the notes being used. SRGMPdnS however the pakad and overall behavior of the raag indicated otherwise.
What you are getting to see and hear is the true genius of ustad, not the commercial horse running Radha Krishna thing that is for the common masses. These are gems that he is producing on the spot! Not everone gets to hear this. Be grateful pleb.
