I remember this event. The riders used hairspray on the tyres to give them grip.

Last thing they wanted was grip.. They raced using momentum of the broadside.. Turning hard.. Jan Anderson was king of the concrete..

@@jacksonirving4594 You need grip on concrete. We used a mixture of soda pop on the concrete floor, otherwise it was just too slippery to slide.

I had the pleasure of riding against Bobbi back in those days. I'll give her her due. She was the best of the female riders (2 total)
But, she never beat me. ;-)
