I was planning on getting Blade's sig LC when his 2nd rerun was going to happen but then this f2p LC released in the new event. Not going to get the sig anymore because of a very minor dmg upgrade. Still waiting for HP drain + dmg up relic set for Blade because every meta character right now has a cracked relic set. We can't overlook the fact how much dmg boost, def ignore and even Ult damage up the newer relic sets give which makes the newer characters shine even more. Blade's 4pc relic set is so bad compared to relics for Feixiao, Firefly, Rappa, Boothill, Acheron, Yunli, Ratio.
I agree with you, this free LC is great provided you get the necessary crit rate and is such a small difference. Also could technically run break blade with the break set that firefly uses and use HMC with 150 break or more, ideally would say 200-300 break and using Ruan's LC as it boosts speed, recovers a skill point plus the extra dmg that it provides but fugue looks promising for him too. Something else a lot of people forget is Blade also scales with Atk and most people build him only full HP but in reality blade should be built with a mix of both HP% and atk% which is yet another reason why most players Blade are not well built. Speed is another thing that blade needs to take multiple turns and ease the team on the skill point generation and also to trigger his FUA more reliable and also generate more energy for more ults, this also could trigger machine auto luocha twice to stack the new set crit dmg increase for blade getting both stacks more easily 72% crit dmg buff.
@@sadcatto3 Best ways to trigger him more frequently are bronya and jade and now Luocha just got a buff for blade with the new support set, it helps to buff when you use luochas heal except on the autoheal, Sunday and Fugue also look promising when looking forward to blade buffs.
Blade mains must be upset now and i don't blame them. How can you make them to pay for a LC then give them a free LC that is near to his signature damage? Lol

I dont think so, the signature provides crit rate and hp so it eases life when it comes to relic stats so you can focus on getting only near 7000 HP and that way you can dump into getting 135 speed and then everything else into attack, it still has its perks.
@@wyndair But you can easily offset this new LC with more CR in the build. You're getting 36% Cdmg and 24% Max HP. Arlan S5 LC is too conditional, cause if you have more relative HP, you lose the extra damage bonus. Blade doesn't need anymore damage bonus. He needs Max HP. And a lot more than the game is willing to give us.

I was saying that Blade mains with his signature wont be dissapointed in a 4* LC even if is close to the stats because a 5* still offers more raw stats in terms of building and requiring less substats investment that was my point. Outside of that the free LC is still perfectly viable but better suited for newer players, for older players that we already have his LC there is no loss, it allows to buid him more easily for offensive. The meta nowdays requires you to have a lot of atk, older blade mains used to go for full HP and others in the past did full crit but the reality is that best blade mains use both on top of a good speed stat to ease blade trigger of his FUA. Ideal stats IMO, you want 7000 hp+ 2500 - 3000 atk, 135 speed and 200 crit dmg.
LC SV(secret vow) damage is adjusted to the Blade's HP and the enemy's HP, right? I just feel like this LC SV for fighting strong bosses or for long fights is really not good

One of Blade's LC passive "When the wearer is attacked or consumes their own HP, their DMG increases by 24%. This effect is removed after the wearer uses an attack." I don't think this triggers in any of the demonstrations.
@@sadcatto3His FUA heals him. Ultimate heals when he's below 50% HP and he doesn't get a stack then. At other times Blade's always losing HP. Be it using his skill, using EBA and using ult when HP above 50%.

Secret Vow loses the bonus alot because Blade heals himself everytime so it's inconsistent

Its always active whenever Blade takes his turn to attack enemies. He loses HP anytime he attacks so that passive is always up.
@@Red07_25 does he also lose hp for doing his Fua? Like his EBA does consume his hp so he gets the buff but depleted right after.
