Apparently there is a right to not be there, but I’ve never seen anyone else have that right, or use it. I personally think he should be made to be there if he’s not going to take a plea deal and admit to murdering Harmony. It just proves that he is truly a coward. Imo it also proves that he’s guilty. I can’t imagine any innocent person facing these charges to not be in court. I pray he is found guilty and convicted for her murder and that Adam Montgomery will never be set free. Not following! Plenty of resources available. You had Judge Newman in Middlesex county in MA grant custody to a career criminal who prior to getting custody was involved in a shooting during a drug deal. The issue is putting habitual dirt bags away for years, not months. This animal should have been locked up way before, but our legal system is lazy and pleads case down to lesser offenses allowing scum bags to roam our streets.

    • @lisabelle7553

That's because the United States social workers are responsible for children's safety instead of having investigators and law-enforcement protect a child. Our system is broken.

@@lisabelle7553 It's really awful and messed up. CPS usually doesn't do crap to help the kids that actually need help. They should do away with the organization and when someone is breaking the law by abusing their kids (or anyone's kids) people should call the police. They should of course give police more training in dealing with situations like that too. It seems like it would make a great deal more sense to call them, since they can actually do things like make arrests. CPS can't arrest anyone. All they do is try to make people sign up for services, and classes, and try to put kids into foster homes, which are more abusive than the homes they are leaving half the time.

Apologizing for letting her down is admitting guilt in possible lawsuits. My former mother-in-law was run over by a school bus, the driver wasn't paying attention on school crosswalk. The school principal said we could focus on grieving, they'll cover the funeral expenses. Afterward the school district said we're mistaken, and they never agreed to pay the bill. Even that was after months of avoiding us.
At that point we hired our own lawyer, she didn't even have a headstone. My father-in-law told the lawyer he wanted the bill paid as promised. What he ended up getting was so much more than that I'm surprised he didn't have a heart attack.
But that's why NH & MA won't do the right thing & that's why the school district here wouldn't.

For Travis? Omg you need to read that probable cause affidavit of Adam Montgomery. Travis is so complicit that it is crazy he is able to walk.
There are even witnesses that went to police way before all this blew up and told them that Travis would get high on crack and start telling people that he HELPED ADAM dispose of Harmony after wrapping up her bits in plastic and going for a ride with Adam to dispose of her in a bunch of different places.
Travis and Britney have gotten away with so much. I hope people read that probable cause affidavit. It's available from a Google search. It tells so much more of the story. It's absolutely terrifying.....

So Britney and Travis were at Adam and Kayla's apartment on 3/1/20. Then, on 3/3/20, Britney and Travis "run into" Kayla and Adam (with Harmony in the bag) at a hotel that all 4 end up not using bc of deposit rates.
So all 4 leave and go to the Econo Lodge where Britney puts her card up for Adam and Kayla to have their own room for two nights 3/3/20-3/4/20. It seems to me that they planned this at the Union st apt days earlier.
Why didnt the prosecutor or defense ask why they all went to Econo after "running into" each other at the first hotel?
Sounds like all 4 made this plan at the Union street apt and met up to execute it using Britneys card so they could dispose of poor Harmony.
The hotel was all set but bc **Britney didnt have her ID** the plan started to fall apart as far as the Uhaul to transport Harmonys body to Massachusetts bc she had the cc card but no ID and they needed someone who did.
Probably feeling bad she spent all this money and that Adam and Kayla had trekked Harmony's dead body, Travis sprung into action to finish the plan and find someone who would rent the uhaul.
Feeling bad his gf scrrewed things up by not having an ID, Travis called Brenden and got him to use HIS ID so Adam could get the Uhaul!
Remember, TRAVIS asked Brenden for the Uhaul. He told Brenden that "Britney was moving" and needed it. He never said anything about Kayla & Adam. And Brenden did it thinking he was helping Travis & Britney.
Then Travis went & got the Uhaul from Brenden, and then handed the keys to Adam so he could do what he had to do.
You will not convince me that Britney and Travis "didnt know."
I hate when attorneys leave unanswered questions. Its obvious to me they know more. They probably got them their own room bc they didnt want a dead child in her mini fridge.
    These people make me sick!

They probably do know more, or at least suspected more. The hotel and getting the uhaul is just drug user behavior. If someone says they'll give a drug user some dope if they do xyz, they'll usually agree. And if both parties are users they'll spend time using in the hotel room before/after whatever the arrangement was for happens (in this case renting a hotel room& acquiring a uhaul for adam). Seen similar behavior many times in far less nefarious situations.

They all need to be held accountable and then JUSTICE will be served 🌷🙏🏼

It will be very interesting to see who that witness is, if they testify. The state has brought out some really good evidence and testimony; I'm hoping Harmony gets justice. I also hope Kayla and the boys get help and can heal and recover from this. I wonder if the state will have a psychiatrist or someone like that, to discuss the effects on the brain, from the physical and psychological torment that Kayla was under. Domestic violence to that extent is beyond awful. I'm glad she was able to eventually leave; too many never do. 💔

By the time the prosecution is done calling witnesses, there won't be anyone left for the defense to call. They are calling LITERALLY EVERYONE! I'm not really sure what the 481 detectives, investigators, and police officers are going to say that's much different than another. Is it really necessary to have this many detectives testify to the same thing?

@-the_autistic_samana- right?!? It's ridiculous. If I was on this jury, I would be so irritated with this. They called several witnesses where they only asked a few questions that seemed completely irrelevant. I mean, the defense didn't even have questions to ask because it was so dang random. It's literally, " did you work with Adam Montgomery at dunkin' donuts?" Then they show his photo and ask, "do you know who this photo is of?" The witness responds, "Adam Montgomery." Then the prosecution is literally like, "No more questions for this witness."
Do we REALLY need 7 different detectives that were all on the SAME scene giving their account of the SAME room at the F.I.T. location?
It is redundant and they are exhausting the Jury for no reason. This whole trial is weird to me, though. They are constantly approaching the bench and not giving their objections out loud. I'm totally complaining and I shouldn't be because I'm not in the Jury and I am sure they are trying to give as much evidence as possible. It just doesn't seem very efficient.

I’ve watched this from the first day of trial.
I’m first sickened that both of these selfish addicts may both get away with murder. Kayla knew that little girl was dead. Why buy three breakfast burritos? One for her, one for Adam and one to split between the two boys. They drove with her dead body like she was a wasted piece of trash. They stuffed her in a ceiling, squeezed, contorted her, stuffed her in freezers and refrigerators. They both are guilty. Kayla had plenty of opportunities to tell a friend, someone in the clinic, her aunt or mom but she didn’t. She may have later feared him -but that came much later.
I don’t know that a jury will find him guilty because no one but Kayla said he did kill her and there’s no actual proof he had.
They both should have been charged - because they both played a role in mistreating, neglecting, beating, killing, then mutilating her little body.
Kayla will get out sooner than later with having gotten away with murder; and sadly I think he will not be found guilty of the murder we all no that bastard brutally contributed to.

He will meet his end long before he's an old man.
And when Kayla gets out of prison...... It's probably in her best interest to leave new hampshire. No one's going to hire her no one's going to let her rent a room or an apartment and a lot of people know who she is and what she hid for so long.

The defendant should be required to be present during the trial. If the defendant is disruptive, they can gag him and tie him to a chair. He needs to be FORCED to be in that courtroom. I realize it's his Constitutional right but there needs to be an 'amendment' to the amendment. The defendant should also be required to be present during 'judgement day' AND sentencing. The only time where a defendant could be 'excused' from being present would be if the defendant initially pleaded GUILTY. But even then, they need to go through the humiliation of being present during the sentencing hearing. This guy is despicable beyond comprehension. I'm so looking forward to prison justice.
