Have you ever thought about becoming a stand-up comic with your clarinet (Steve Martin with his banjo comes to mind}? You're naturally funny and entertaining in your totorials. Great job.
No comment has ever sparked more joy than this one! I spent a summer doing open mics. I got a couple “tight fives” from that time lol. I never included my clarinet in the bits….that’s a really niche crowd! Steve Martin is a hero of mine. The movie the Jerk is my favorite of all time. I saw him backstage at a show and totally froze. I should have walked by, taken my glasses off, and said “damn these glasses” to see if he would do the bit with me. I would imagine not….but I blame myself because I didn’t even try
Thanks, this is very useful. I feel quite confident playing through a 3 octave chromatic from E (up and down) but have noticed when playing in band I seem to struggle whenever a chromatic passage comes up, for example playing a fast triplet chromatic from altissimo D down an octave and back up again. Hopefully these exercises will help
Thanks for bringing that to my attention. The website has changed and I didn’t think about that! Will you email me theclarinetninja@gmail and I will find it and send it to you (and change the link)

@@clarinetninja Could you tell us what fingerings you recommend in the Altissimo region up to C7? Thanks
@@bobwas4066 i will certainly make a video about that! That’s a great idea. I will have to think carefully before I go on record:)
