So great to see Josh killing it! The first time I saw him he played for about 20 people in a small honky tonk bar, now look at him. Great artist but an even better dude. Always go and see his shows when he is in town and I think its been like 7 shows now. Always an amazing show

Yeaaahhhhh! What a great instrumental, vocal, and storytelling tribute (to Lizzo, I hope)! More verses painting an actual story of emotion, as opposed to a '4-to-1 ratio of hooks/choruses to verses approach' seemingly used in the past 15 years to produce what amount to be crowd hype-up songs. Highly effective and profitable as this approach may be for a small few entertainers, the rest of those performers simply blend together due to the oversaturation of the repetitive 4-to-1 approach mentioned above.
I can not say if I'm a fan of this group yet. Only because I must find and listen to more songs from them to know. Popularity is irrelevant here.
This is a damn good piece of art, and a damn fine way for getting me to listen in your direction. It would be appreciated if someone might direct me to any original songs of theirs to check out.

Definitely listen to Joshua Ray Walker, he is an amazing artist and a better person. He is hands down the best storytelling songwriter I have ever heard, and he has an amazing voice. Listen to his songs Voices, Canyon, Lot Lizard, and Sexy After Dark to get an idea of his range but every one of his songs deserves a listen.
