Honestly I have never found a video which is so clear cut and *coughs* not boring as many other SPSS tutorials on youtube! Thank you so much! This is super useful especially for my final year in university!
Thank you very much! This an answered prayer! Thank You Lord Jesus! Thank You Father God! Thanks to Google Team! Thanks and congratulations to Dr. Todd Daniel! Ureka! I found a very good professor! Now, I can teach Statistics much better. To God be the glory!!!!
Thank you so much for making SPSS easier for beginners. I came across your videos just when I was about to give up with SPSS. Words cannot express how grateful I am for your videos. You have shed so much light and now I realize this is not as difficult as I thought. You do extremely well with teaching, it’s your calling ❤
Your version of statistics lessons are much easier to understand and correlate with SPSS! Kudos! I hope you guys continue making more of these videos that are easy to understand!
Thank you so much for your excellent presentation DR. Tood , Honestly I have never found a video which is so clear cut and coughs not boring as many other SPSS tutorials on TH-cam! Thank you so much
Literally, I've started watching from Video 1 in playlist ... N still continue...These videos make easy to understand by a beginner.. Thank You So Much for sharing your knowledge. 💜
Thank you for these videos!! You have no idea how helpful they are, I was so close to crying trying to figure this out and then I stumbled across this angel from heaven!! Lol, really. Great teacher, great help.
What a hero you are - the software I was using to do quant analysis in my mixed methods thesis just stopped working as I'm re-running all my data prior to submission. So I have to learn SPSS in a night. This video is SO helpful - thank you !!!
Thanks Dr. Todd Daniel ! A very comprehensive and detailed description ! Your style of explaining step by step is too good and understandable! God bless u
Thank you so much for generously sharing your knowledge and skill, Dr. Daniel. I have a question that will be even more grateful if they can be answered. May I know the reasons why the correlation between gender and weights can be considered significant while that between heights and weights is considered insignificant because the sample size is too small? I do not understand because the sample is the same in both cases.
Really recommended for beginners. This video shows steps to perform analysis using spss with interpretation on the result. besides, as beginner, you should also read introduction to statistic book as well .
Many thanks for your video. I was wondering if we could use Pearson Correlation to measure the relationship between a numerical variable and a categorical variable. Based on your video, it seems to me that we can do that... Example: you examined the relationship between gender and weight.
Thanks for wonderful lectures. I have started to like Statistics due to you doc. Thanks I am ready to apply pearson correlation in real for my publication but I couldn't find other video (as you mentioned in the begging of your lecture) about correlation "analysis theory and how to write pre findings in apa style". Please provide the link of that video. Thanks
I am so happy I have found this channel, Thanks a million Dr Daniel . Thanks for step by step explanation , it helps me to work out and practice simultaneously.
The video was perfect!🤩I would like to ask, if I have a lot of age groups and I want to create correlations with one of them and another variable, how can I select only one age group when choosing the variable of ''age''?
Sir, thank you . You lectures are very informative & simple to follow . Could you please take a session on data analysis on for example on " Beck Anxiety Inventory" scale .
Dear Dr. Daniel thank you so much for making the videos concerning SPSS analysis. I have watched every one of your tutorials several times and take some notes. Because my major is plant breeding and I have learned a lot about statistics, I find your clips very high-brow and worthwhile. thanks a million
I am currently working on an updated and expanded series. This one is a few years old and it could use some updating. Plan to have that ready to go well in advance of fall semester. Thanks for watching.
sorry i have a question. i want to find out the sites and the main causes of injuries in volleyball for my research. so which test that suitable for my research?my lecturer suggested that i need to use t-test but which one of it? thank you
I would need more detail to answer. I would suspect that each site would have different causes and that would be more of a qualitative study, perhaps a review of medical charts. To use a t-test, you need to be measuring something that you can calculate a mean. If you have sites and causes, both are categorical, you may be looking at a chi-square instead. Perhaps the videos on my channel about types of t tests may help? Good luck! th-cam.com/video/0jGojVxrFv0/w-d-xo.html. and th-cam.com/video/NZSRyrqFRtQ/w-d-xo.html
I’m sorry but I still don’t understand the relationship in the output with gender, height and weight if gender is a nominal variable, could you please give more clarification?
Dear Prof. Can we analyse correlation between a scale variable and a proportion? Such as a relationship between progesterone profile (Scale) and pregnancy rate (Proportion). Thanks in advance.
Yes, you can. Proportions are scales, so they can be used in correlation. You can also use them in regression equations. Be sure to check both variables for normality and restricted range, however. Make sure they both have sufficient variability. Sometimes "normal" readings are all in a similar range and you should not extrapolate outside of that range. Good luck
Hi, this is really helpful. Thank you so much. You just saved my life. I have little background in statistical analysis, but now I acquired a bit. Don't you have a video for regression analysis?
@@ResearchByDesign I have question, If I have 5 factors and each Factor have 3 questions. Using likert scale how will I input it in SPSS to get the mean of each factor? I want to analyze, if those 5 factors has significant impact on consumers. I'll be grateful if you could help me. Thank you! :)
The "more correlated" would probably be "more strongly correlated" and that is the pair of variables with a correlation (r coefficient) closest to positive or negative 1. A weaker correlation is the pair closer to zero.
Honestly I have never found a video which is so clear cut and *coughs* not boring as many other SPSS tutorials on youtube! Thank you so much! This is super useful especially for my final year in university!
The black and white camera just simply made the video to another level
Thank you very much! This an answered prayer! Thank You Lord Jesus! Thank You Father God! Thanks to Google Team! Thanks and congratulations to Dr. Todd Daniel! Ureka! I found a very good professor! Now, I can teach Statistics much better. To God be the glory!!!!

Hi, you are right, in this case I think it's important to check the normality because per r is parametric.
Thank you so much for uploading these videos. I'm pretty sure they pretty much carry my unis Psych courses.
I am really enjoying your all videos Dr. Todd! Thank you so much!
Glad you like them! Thanks for the comment!
very nice lecture and easy to understand
lecturer is perfect, thank you so much
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you, but do we need to apply correction if we test more than 2 variables, e.g. bonferonni?
u saved my life 10/10 would graph again
love it! so clear! what a significant teacher!
Glad it was helpful!

Can Pearson correlation be used for gender as it is not continuous ?
That's a great session starting to till.
Thank you so much sir 🙏😊
Thank you for sharing it really helps me as a psychology student hope you create more❤️

Amazing, thank you , Sir!
Anybody can help how to do a correlation of Likert scale.?
Excellent presentation!
Thank you kindly!
Hello again sir
I had one more question
Of the correlated groups how can we specifically know which is more correlated and which is less correlated..
The "more correlated" would probably be "more strongly correlated" and that is the pair of variables with a correlation (r coefficient) closest to positive or negative 1. A weaker correlation is the pair closer to zero.
Soon impressed and inspiring
Thank you very much> I am going to follow this videos to know more about SPSS
