    Many thanks for your video. I was wondering if we could use Pearson Correlation to measure the relationship between a numerical variable and a categorical variable. Based on your video, it seems to me that we can do that... Example: you examined the relationship between gender and weight.

    Thank you so much for generously sharing your knowledge and skill, Dr.
    Daniel. I have a question that will be even more grateful if they can be
    answered.
    May I know the reasons why the correlation between gender and weights can be considered significant while that between heights and weights is considered insignificant because the sample size is too small? I do not understand because the sample is the same in both cases.

    sorry i have a question. i want to find out the sites and the main causes of injuries in volleyball for my research. so which test that suitable for my research?my lecturer suggested that i need to use t-test but which one of it? thank you

    • @ResearchByDesign
      @ResearchByDesign  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would need more detail to answer. I would suspect that each site would have different causes and that would be more of a qualitative study, perhaps a review of medical charts. To use a t-test, you need to be measuring something that you can calculate a mean. If you have sites and causes, both are categorical, you may be looking at a chi-square instead. Perhaps the videos on my channel about types of t tests may help? Good luck! th-cam.com/video/0jGojVxrFv0/w-d-xo.html. and th-cam.com/video/NZSRyrqFRtQ/w-d-xo.html
