I feel you on the "poor man's altitude" comment. Born and raised in Florida for 35 years, and got tired of running in the summers (or 90% of the year). I moved from NoFla to the mountain west this year and absolutely loving it. It's nice to be able to hit key workouts 100% and also not come back drenched. Will be following along your progression!
Going to be fun to watch you for years to come, you’re going to be a perennial favorite soon. Milwaukee will be the first pro race I attend so I’ll be cheering you on!
As a northerner who moved to Florida (Clermont area), what I find amazing is that peak triathlon, road, and run training is in the late spring to summer. These FL natives are crazy. You would think winter would be peak training time as we have the best winter training (temperature-wise) in the entire U.S., but the locals would rather ride their bikes in 82 - 84 degree early morning temperatures with 90 percent humidity all summer. I so often find myself in slim company on my winter training rides. This state is not meant for me. I'm gone to find the promised land for training real soon, but I can see why Clermont is the triathlon training mecca of the east coast. The area has a lot of things going for it, but the humidity is just something I cannot adjust to. Fifteen years, I have not heat adapted one bit. Winter is amazing though. I am going to miss training on Buckhill Rd, Sugarloaf, Dewey Robbins Rd... its a real rollercoaster. So great for training. Lake Louisa State Park - also a favorite training ground. So many triathletes there every week its almost like we own that park.
You ever do the power line run right down the road from the National Training Center where you were doing your swim? I like to do 5 to 10 repeats up that grass hill, and then just finish the loop up by taking the bike trail back to the NTC parking lot. That power line hill is among the toughest I have found in all of Florida.
“Easy 10k Run”… 6:35min/mi pace 😅 I used to be in great shape. Now I’m just getting back into it with the goal of being a competitive Triathlete. I know I have a long road ahead of me! I certainly can’t wait to say 6:35min/mi pace is an ez pace! Keep it up
Thanks so much for all the nice comments and support everyone!! Means a lot.
Love that swim coach. She's so blunt!

Looking forward to this channel/series. You’re going to do great things man. The money will come. Just stay focused and optimistic.
Agreed, TF is already showing his massive potential, expecting big things but it can and often does take time
Go Trevor! Great video, looking forward to more content from you.
Those Lunarglides were the best shoes glad you’re finding a way to still rock them!
You are right on about the humidity, man! After 7 months I am still adjusting to it, just sapped my energy and can’t seem to get it back.

Boulder 70.3 was my first race. It was great to see you in person, big fan! Keep up the great work

That HR on your run was super impressive! Especially considering the pace, heat snd session you had done before!
Can't wait to see all this - I am from Tucson and moved to Dallas, the humidity is brutal when you're used to that dry heat! Stoked to follow along.
I'll be a long, long, long ways behind you in Oregon. Good luck in your final preparations!
Hahahah see you there! Safe travels

Hang in there Trevor it's going to pay off, stay linked into Lionel no value on Experience.(your good for him as well)
Listen to his reasoning, the man is well read and well experienced. Don't listen to his conclusions, they're proven to be trash.
Man I remember my first race coaching you won at Lecanto. Couldn’t believe how fast you were. Still rolling.

Great video! Super humble and talented, except you took a lactate from your sweaty finger. Probably why it was 0.9 😂
