Thank you soooo much Queen! I always appreciate your support!❤️❤️❤️ You’re the one that got me to try this shampoo and I absolutely love it! I’m sorry to hear you can’t get a hold of it anymore!😭
Thank you so much! 🥹 You’re absolutely right-adding oil to your deep conditioner really is a game changer. It helps lock in moisture and leaves the hair feeling so soft and nourished. Do you have a go-to oil you love using for your DC sessions? I’d love to know!✨
Wow...now I see why your hair is so long and lustrous! You really take a lot of time to care for it, which I have not always done. Question...do you use a clarifying shampoo every week?
Yes, I moisturize my hair during the week and I also do scalp massages so I always do a round of clarifying shampoo on wash day to help remove all that buildup.
Thank you so much! 🧡 You can absolutely use oils from your stash for a hot oil treatment-no need to buy anything new. Some great options are olive oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, argan oil, or even grapeseed oil. Each oil offers its own benefits, but the key is to warm it up (not too hot) and apply it directly to your scalp and strands. Massage it in, cover with a plastic cap, and let it sit for about 30 minutes before rinsing out. Your hair and scalp will love the extra nourishment!☺️
Hello, just came upon your New Year video. I follow those that have hair similar to mines and yours looks more like mine. Do you have low porosity hair?
Great question, Sandra! I actually explained this during my conditioning process in the video. For me, the conditioning step serves as an additional detangling phase to ensure I’ve removed any shed hairs that didn’t come out during the pre-poo stage. This makes applying my deep conditioner so much smoother because I no longer have to detangle during that step-I can focus solely on letting the deep conditioner penetrate my strands. It’s an extra step, but it’s been a game-changer for me.
How long does the whole process take from wash to styling? Your hair is beautiful and I have a similar texture and length but have not perfected a wash n go in 20 years because after a day my hair looks dry and starts to tangle a bit. I know you said it takes time, but how much time are we talking because your girl is lazy! lol
Thank you so much for your kind words! 🧡 I’ll be honest-wash day for me usually takes about 7 to 8 hours from start to finish. Having long, curly hair requires a lot of time, patience, and gentle care, and I’ve found that taking my time on wash day has been key to retaining length over the past 8 years. I’m very delicate with my curls during every step-pre-pooing, detangling, deep conditioning, and styling-and I try not to rush the process. But I totally understand that not everyone has that kind of time, and that’s okay! The most important thing is to understand your hair’s needs and create a routine that fits your lifestyle. Whether that means spreading out your routine over two days, simplifying certain steps, or choosing styles that last longer, it’s all about what works best for you. At the end of the day, consistency and patience are what truly make a difference. I hope this gives you some insight.☺️

Glad to see you back! What other oils can be used for hot oil treatments? Trying to use up my stash 😂😂😂

@ Thank you😊
I miss the black friday hauls😢
I’ll do one for this upcoming 2025 Black Friday!✨😏
Why do you apply conditioner before you apply deep conditioner? Seems like a redundant and unnecessary step.

Le gaspillage d eau qui coule pour rien c'est importe quoi 🤔😡
