I enjoyed watching that short 7SM2. The bull couldn't care less. The barbed wire fence for the paddock gave the vision a sense of perspective. Well filmed again Sir!
So they closed the old station but kept that awkward kink in the track? Why not straighten out the track there? The old station doesn't seem to be used for anything, it seems to be derelict.
Appealing the condition of the tracks and road bed. Third world standard. Surprising as ARTC maintain the tracks and in NSW the track runs as if it where on a table top. None of this rock and roll affair as seen in this video with the XPT.

Thanks 😀😀
A beaut clip as always Schony747 but gee the old track is a shocker along this section of line [from 2:30], how embarrassing ARTC!!
Awesome video mate and I love trains
Thanks 😀😀. We all love trains on this channel.
Schony747 your welcome
Great shots of the old station. Thanks for sharing. Dave
Thanks Dave. Have a great morning.
Sehr gut video
When are you sending the boys down with the track leveller?
ARTC are obviously happy with the track so not for a while I suspect
Barnawartha is twenty four kilometers from where i live in wodonga just down the road from me its about a nineteen minute drive
You live in a nice part of the world!
Can you film at the Sisely Avenue level crossing in Wangaratta please?
If I ever get to Wangaratta which is pretty rare.

The old station is not in use. I'm assuming they uses the old curved alignment as that was the original standard gauge track that required no work.
mud holes everywhere, state of the track is just appalling.

Agreed, in a lot of respects rail in Victoria is neglected for road infrastructure. And rail is not promoted enough as a better form of transport.
