I started playing at 11 yrs old (bit late compared to most). Played in a div 2 team hat won the season. I also felt so comfortable with sport that I tried out for the regional team here in Brisbane, Australia. I didn’t make it and played with a team full of substitutes from other regional teams. I was heart broken that I didn’t make the team as I had previously gotten everything I wanted. It was a good experience and possibly changed who I was as a player, let alone a person. I knew from then on that I’d need to work and grind to get to into the team. Years of work and at age 15, I not only made the regional team, I had a batting average of 700 for the tournament and made the Queensland team and went to nationals. That was last year and I plan to achieve the same if not better again. I’m not the best player, but I feel the sport helped me mature and grow. Baseball is possibly the best sport in the world because of what it can give back for hard work.

My baseball career started off very good, I almost won the MVP about 3 times. I hit doubles and triples and sometimes in the park homeruns. I was very consistent and led our team to the semifinals. After that, I went up to the next league, where I thought I would keep dominating. I ended having my worst season yet and this season I am not being useful to the team so far. I hope next season I can step it up. :)

I've never paid more attention to baseball than basketball, but it was always a part of my life. When I was 5, I heard of this sport, I began playing with my friends. At six I started playing rec, and by 8 I was playing travel team. Now at the age of 12 I am extremely good, I play rec and on my school team

my baseball story is at young age, I loved baseball, a big Yankees fan. Derek Jeter was my favorite player. getting into teeball, i was good. my mom convinced the coach to let me play little league a year younger. I was decent 1 or 2 homeruns, a few hits and good amount of rbi. next season I start with a couple more hits, more rbis and about 5 homeruns. eventually I made traveling. i was amazing. 7 homeruns. around 36 rbis and 50 hits. I made varsity eventually. 9 homeruns, 37 rbis, and 52 hits. next season I broke my arm in wrestling and missed most of the season except the last 3 games. I hit 2 homeruns, 4 rbis and 6 hits. next season I had 12 homeruns, 62 rbis and 64 hits. keeping it constant. 11th grade i hit 72 times, 68 RBIs, and 14 homeruns. next year I'm ready for my last year, I hope to make it to college

I started playing baseball, actually t-ball when I was 4. In my school district we do not have middle schools, but there are middle school baseball and football teams for both high schools where I live. I started playing on the middle school team called the Jets this year. Ever since we started hitting pitched balls when I was 7 I have never really been a good hitter, but I was always a great fielder. Recently, I hit a walk off double and have been hitting better and have been more confident ever since.
I also won a local hit, pitch, and run competition and get to advance to the state competition. I had a perfect score on pitching in the local one. The state is next month. If you make it to nationals you get to be one of those kids who shag balls during the MLB home run derby. I seriously doubt I will make it that far. That was my baseball story. Thanks to anyone who read this. I have won two championships in our my local Cal Ripken Baseball league. I've only made the all-star team once. Please shout me out TD it would mean a lot to me! #TDTAKEOVER

I haven't done road to the show this year yet. Kinda low on time. However, I have a true story for you. I started playing baseball like most kids wit tee-ball...but my love for the game came from my grandfather having season tickets to the Detroit Tigers and we went to every game when they were at home on the weekends. I was 4 when the won the world series. I don't remember most of it..but small bits. I loved baseball so much that when I was 8 I told my grandfather I was going to become a professional baseball player. I had great little league coaches and then my freshman year of High School our school actually hired a new coach that actually played professionally. Called up once, but spent a lot of time in the minors. First/Third Base were my positions and even as a youngster I had pop and my High School coach wanted me to build on that. He moved me to first which easy position to play..and Our school did really well...My junior year after a game, my coach said scouts were at the game...And finally before my senior year I had interest from the Indians, Royals, and Padres ( back in 1999 ) a couple wanted to see how I'd do my senior year and I was also getting a full scholarship if I wanted to do college first before going pro...At any rate...Was with family on a summer road trip before my senior year to Cedar Point in Ohio..we got in a pretty bad accident my mother and I got the most injuries out of the situation...don't remember anything but car flipping then waking up in the hospital 2 days later, my left arm in this thing and hours later I was told my shoulder was fused all they could do to save my arm and baseball career was over before it got started.
Bright side I actually work for the Detroit Tigers as a scout...and I pretty much scout all the High Schools in the state of Michigan. Well the High Schools that have students with real potential to be in the show.

I started playing when I was 6, as I got older I wasn't a power hitter. I had a batting average over 400 my whole "career". I played all the way to my sophomore year, then I found out that I couldn't play anymore because I had disintegrated three joints in both my feet over the years. Honestly a huge bummer in my life because I had just made my varsity high school team. I was being scouted by A&M and UT. Was a fun ride but a very sad ending. Anywho, keep up the good videos, always great to watch

Played baseball for almost 15 years, started at age 5 when I was also diagnosed w cancer in my back and started my treatment but made my way up through the ranks real quick and was playing w 12 year olds at age 8 then stated playing travel ball at 10 where I was playing baseball for 11 months out of the year even played in the first round of the little league World Series! When I was 14 years old was talking to the head coach at Florida State until I was pitching one day and took a line drive back at my throwing elbow and it shattered my elbow leaving me to have elbow surgery and unable to throw for 5 months. Was never able to quite recover from it and then ended up having to have another back surgery. This made me lose my chance at playing baseball after high school, because no college coach wanted to take a chance on me

So I've been playing since I was six. I played tee ball my first year, then farm (coach pitch) the next two years. My first year of AA minors was hard because I was young and there were good players on my team. My second year of AA i got my first inside the park home run and led my sorry team to the playoffs with two other players, but lost. AAA was also a great year, and we even won the championship. Next year, I played middle school ball as a sixth grader because my school is tiny, and we lost all ten games. That year, in majors, we had an okay season, but it was hard because there are different bat rules in each league, and we use a real diamond in middle school ball. Seventh grade, won one game in middle school, and won two in babe Ruth. This year, we have had two middle school games so far. We lost our first one, but I started pitching in our second one, and got seven strikeouts in four innings. I have been hitting well so far, 3/6 our next game is on the 30th, because we have vacation this week. We haven't had a babe Ruth game yet, but I'm looking forward to it. I mostly p!at third base and pitch, but maybe some shortstop.

I used to play baseball ever since I was 5, but around when I was 10 I got a foot problem which still exists today. We’re pretty sure it’s plantar fasciitis. I stopped playing but then a couple of years ago I tried playing again when I was 15 for a in-house rec league. I remember I played outfield and I dove for the ball one time and absolutely ate dirt. I completely scorpioned and I swear if you were watching it was probably the funniest thing. The best moment was getting 2 RBIs in the seventh to give us the win. We ended up winning the championship. I guess it’s kind of a comeback story. Anyways, I don’t play anymore because I play lacrosse in the spring and I highly doubt I’d make any of the high school baseball teams. I might play club baseball in college.

I have been playing baseball since I was 5. I was mainly an Outfielder and Pitcher. But my athleticism led me to play 3B/SS and I also was behind the dish. I was a switch hitter in LL all the way up to my senior year in Hs when I started gettting some pop in my bat on the Left side. I threw consistently 85-89 mph and right now I'm planning on walking on in college this fall. Hopefully my training can build me to be a low 90s guy out the pen.

I started playing baseball when I was 5, My father died when I was 6, I stopped playing baseball until I was 11, I started that year at Shortstop my batting average was .287 not how i wanted it to be, that was the summer before I started middle school, I worked all fall and then in spring I started on my middle school team in 6 grade at 2nd base, half way through the season I took the starting shortstop position, batting a .343 I was finally where I wanted to be. Then I played on the summer team, got invited to my first all-star tournament we took it all the way, with me at short batting a .426 I was the MVP of the league only getting struck out once the whole season, we won the ship, now here came this year I am now 13 I started on varsity btw at short for my middle school team, I am 5’10 168 lbs., I led my division in stolen bases with 38, batting average being .408 this year in middle school i also hit my first homerun. Then came summer league, again I was MVP I went to an allstar tourney again lost in the chamionship but there were scouts and they said to keep working and ill be a division 1 baseball player, and now I am training for my last year of middle school, my instagram is @eliblasttns I have a video of me hitting an inside the parker. I am from Rocky Mount, North Carolina. I love your vids bro keep it up, I also recently won a local pich hit run contest but then lost semi finals

I love baseball. My mom said that i was playing since i was old enough to hold a bat in my hand. I am a star 2nd baseman and Im a good one. In tee ball I found my sport. And in coach pitch I remember hitting at least 12 homers. In fast pitch I were I am now, I am the best 2nd baseman in my league. I have so far hit 6 homers. In my first year of fast pitched i broke my finger which caused me not to be able to play 1/3 of the way in the season. And since then I can only play in the infield to my full potential ability. I can barely hit the ball like i used to do. This injury was the end of my hole hitting career. Till today my finger still bothers me sometimes. And this is my story.

I started playing baseball when I was four, and played every year until I was 13. Also at 13 I decided to try at basketball since I'm tall and my uncle who had recently passed at the time always wanted me to play basketball, so I gave it try. For some reason I thought I would be good naturally because he was, but that wasn't the case. My first year of basketball was terrible. Going into high school I trained more for basketball than baseball in the summer. Freshman year I tried out for the basketball team but not baseball (idk why, I'm just the biggest dumbass ever). So freshman year I got my gym membership, I worked the fuck out of my legs because my vertical was ass. Sophomore year again tried out for basketball, but also volleyball this time because a lot of my family had played that in high school and college. I had only played when I went to family parties or gatherings. I was alright, but still needed a lot of practice. Doesn't really matter, for some reason I still didn't try out for baseball. During my first two years of high school I slowly started getting disconnected from baseball. I stopped watching it and even stopped playing catch with my family. Let's just skip to my senior year because junior was just based on academic stuff, no sports. Actually during junior I started watching baseball again because the NBA is high key boring with the warriors being godly. So yea senior year comes and during the summer I start training my ass off to baseball again. Of course I knew the chances of making the baseball team my senior year was dumb low, but I still trained. I knew the baseball coach already, had him for class and we would always talk about baseball. But yea once tryouts come I did alright during fielding practice. I always got a bit nervous during fielding practice but once it came to BP, I crushed that shit. I knew my school team didn't have the best hitters, especially in my grade, so I focused on that and it turned out good for me. Moral of the story is don't quit your favorite sport to try out another one just because you think you'll be good at it. My Instagram is @prendonnn

So when I was 12 I was in my local little league and we were in the World Series. Some background info, my mom was diagnosed with ALS when I was 9 and I slowly watched her get worse and worse, oh and if u don’t know ALS is what Lou Gehrig had. Fast forward it turns out she passes away the day before game 2 of the World Series. It really sucked my my whole team and the other team came to the funereal and they were really nice I was blessed to be around such a great group of people. Turns out we lost in game 3 and it was full of ups and downs but my mom was free now in a better place❤️

I've been playing baseball since I was 4 years old. Ever since then I have been a power hitter. I played football my entire life up until I hit Jr high, but during that I hurt both of my legs and now I have a hard time running on them but I do it anyways. I'm in high school right now and I play first, third and outfield. The high school I'm in is very bias in their choice of players on the team. If your not popular in the town or school system or you don't have money. Or you don't have either your not making the team. We havent made it to state in years and it's because none of the good kids make it on the team.

Baseball Story Time: So I’m still 14 but ima tell ya the truth when I was pretty young I wanted to play baseball. When I turned 6 or 7 I joined the parks and rec league and we lost horribly. When I turned 9 I went onto the air force base league and we...lost. 10-13 we almost won the playoffs on 3 different teams. Now that I’m 14 I want to try out for my high school team after I go to high school.

I currently play high school baseball for my school and I'm trying to play in the summer. This year was a nail biter, we were on the edge of making the playoffs but now we can' since we lost too many games, this week we play our final two games. This was my second year, I played JV my freshman year, skipped last year and I play Varsity this year, my Junior year. I am currently working to become a Utility player, I'm a lefty, so maybe I'll play first base and become a pitcher along with playing outfield (which I did this year) and I want to play at the next level, so this summer I'm going to camps and stuff. I'm really serious about playing and I love baseball.

I played that for a year and then went to coach pitch for another year. I went to machine pitch then won a World Series. Now I am on a club travel team and a little league kid pitch team. So far we have 6 wins, 1 loss and 1 tie. I root for the Dodgers since I am in LA, but my team is the Tigers even though I am not the biggest Tigers fan. That’s my story about baseball for me.

at about 7th grade I blew out my elbow bad and I had to take about a year and a half off of baseball. flash forward to freshmen year I batted over .700 after ten games and was also 3-0 with a 0.00 ERA so I got moved up to varsity and was the only freshmen on my varsity team in south Florida. Flash Forward to Junior year fall I got asked by a top travel program to throw in a tournament with them and a few d1's wanted to see me throw. I came in relief and third pitch in I took a line drive to the face that came off the bat at 101 and the doctors told me id be blind in my right eye for the rest of my life. I came back a month later and my vision was better than before. my senior year i posted a 0.17 WHIP which was #1 in the state at the time. i then threw a game and pitched awful and it brought my season whip to a 0.68. for college, I decided to go JUCO in south florida. in the fall i got cut because i hurt my elbow and was out 2 months. after rehab the week I was supposed to come back the coach had cut me. I had a tryout with another junior college during winter break in the same conference and ended up making the team. So far that's my story and it's not done yet. ig: mikey.entenza

I orinally played a lot of basketball but they when I was in fourth grade I started playing baseball and because i starting play later I became the hardest worker on my team. I devote over 20 hours of my week playing ball with my team and spend lots of time on my own. Ibat second or fifth in the lineup. I’m very consistent. My obp for the season is .923 through 6 games. A teammate and I pitched a no hitter today as well. Im a relief pitcher but our starting pitcher was feeling good so I pitch the rest of the game. I play shortstop and third when I’m not pitching.

I’m 18 so this is around my 14 year playing baseball I am a high school senior in hellertown, PA. I started playing baseball because my dad is a coach and at the time he was an assistant to a D1 program so he got me hooked into baseball it was my everything when I was little it’s the only thing I wanted to do. Then middle school came around and I was just playing Rec no travel ball it was too expensive and then I started realizing like I’m not the best out there but I’m still good so I worked hard and I got a lot better at fielding and pitching but hitting I was still lacking. So around 14- 15 ish I’m a freshman in high school playing high school jv baseball and Rec league still and all my coaches tell me is you’re a great fielder you can make all the plays but you can’t hit and I keep trying and trying to improve my hitting and I just can’t so then sophomore year game around I started the year off on jv then I moved to varsity mainly just to pinch run but again my hitting wasn’t great so then summer baseball comes around and I do awesome hit in the high 300 make it to states so junior year I’m ready to go starting left fielder first game hit a walk off hit in at the top of the world the next thing you know the season is done in a flash of an eye and I only get one more hit the whole high school season so then summer legion baseball again my hitting is lacking behind for most of the season then I keep working and working with my dad trying to improve pushing myself so the final month I hit over 500 and finish with a little over a 300 batting average so then high school senior year I am beyond excited for the year to start I’m a captain I going to play second base feel good about my hitting and I start the season off 0-12 feel so down on myself so then my last three games I am 4-8 but the thing that makes me hitting poorly hurt so much and make me feel so bad is that I’m going to play Division 3 baseball at Moravian college but my dad is the head coach and I know I can be a college baseball and play at a high level but I feel like everyone thinks that I’m just on the team because of my dad and it just makes me feel so down on myself because I start to believe the people talking. But that is my baseball story so far I don’t know if anyone is gonna give this a read but I wanted to get all these feelings off my chest and my insta is @elias_engelhardt

My player who I started in MLB 17 was terrible at first. After 1 year in the minors he was pulled up to he the starting right fielder for the Blue Jays. He got snubbed on rookie of the year because of 2 injuries. Now, in his 5th season in the majors, he’s won 3 World Series, a Home run derby, and multiple awards. Instagram: TardisSixteen

I’ve been playing baseball since I was 5 when I was 8 I tried out for the Ronkonkama cardinals travel team, I made the team I was the starting second basemen and that team was the best 8U baseball team on Long Island (in New York). I ended up switching teams because of coaching issues I played on about 8-10 more travel teams after that then I had major spinal surgery and ended up quitting after that

I've played baseball for 9 years. In little league I was always the worst player. Then when I was 12 I tried out for the middle school team and didn't make it so I went back to little league for my last season there. I was my teams best pitcher. Then I tried out for the middle school team in 8th grade and I made it but I was on the bench the entire season. I tried out for the high school team the next year and didn't make it. A year later in 2018 I got invited to a baseball combine at Murray state university.

I play triple A baseball and we lost the first game out of 16.then my dad put me in the batting cages with this dude.He then said he played 2nd base for the Detroit tigers. His name was Jordan. We practice hours. I mostly played short or 2nd so i practice with him. I was soon really good at fielding. So i learned batting with him and now we haven’t lost a game. I was the star. Hitting triples, doubles and home runs. Like if you liked the story.
