- The Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church Choir of Chicago IL sing “In That Great Gettin' Up Mornin' " Founder/Pastor Emeritus: Rev. Clay Evans Current Pastor: Rev. Reginald Sharpe Minister of Music: Lou Della Evans Reid Assistant Minister of Music: Rev. Reginald McCracken
Singing while announcements are being read. Very catchy song.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 i couldn't read the announcements in this church. She holding it together tho🙂. Sopranos all in the atmosphere. Love fellowship worship.
So many times that choir jammed right behind the announcer. I often wondered how the announcer made it through as well
The morning service announcements ALOT of times were a different story
THATS WHAT IM TAKIN ABOUT , IN GREAT MORNING GETTIN UP MORNIN FARLELY WELL
This is how sopranos are SUPPOSED to sing.

I’m the gray ?
What year is this? I suspect it's 1991. I see many choir members I've met when I've visited Chicago, lived in Chicago and left Chicago. I also remember watching the What A Fellowship hour on TV 8 in Columbus Ohio at this time period 1991 - 1994.
Can anyone make out the lyrics in the beginning before the choir gets to fair ye well vamp or knows if this song was produced?
“I got a home up in that kingdom, ain’t that good news!
I’m gonna lay down this world, shoulder up my cross,
take it home to my Jesus, ain’t that good news!
One sound one choir them tenors sound like one voice
I did
Does anyone know what the altos and tenors are saying? I can’t quite make it out and what I’m singing doesn’t sound right🤣
Sops - In that great gettin’ up morning
A&T - Fair the (ye) well
T - Gabrielle blow his trumpet
S&A Fair the well
A - I am waiting for the morning
At the end it sounds like tenors are saying Blow it soft and easy…
@@Spiritualculturemusic T- Blow and soft easy
A- I am waiting for the morning
@@Spiritualculturemusic Thank you👍🏾
Lol
The apostolic way
Whew! There's never been a sound, and never will again, like the sound of THE Fellowship Baptist Church, 45th Place & Princeton Avenue, in Chicago Illinois!
