Love how they used this song again for this ganondorf, so creative. When Zelda had doubt, link gave her COURAGE, when link was lost in memories, she gave him WISDOM, and when they had to face ganondorf a second time, they gave each other POWER
Not really. They gave eachother motivation, Zelda didn't really give him wisdom, just told him what to do, and Link didn't give her courage, she did that herself. If anything, the virtues are different. Ganon still launches tactical, militaristic attacks during the Calamity 3ven though he's "A mindless beast". Zelda makes a courageous sacrifice in both games. And Link's power is emphasized in BotW, AoC, and TotK more than any other Zelda games.

Honestly, this and Hands of a Thief are my top two favorite songs that have ever been made. Hands of a Theif got me back into listening to music as a whole and drawing, while Evil King just gives me goosebumps listening to it. And the whole album itself gives you a new perspective with OoT. Can't wait for the next Zelda song you make!
Even though there are so many parts in the song that would fit greatly with cutscenes from the one of the main quests it's incredible how this was put together with no spoilers for the game, that's real talent there 👏👏👏

When I made a tumblr account and ended up joining the amassed Zelda community on there I quickly found out the Songs Of Time are heralded almost as a paragon of the fandom which was quite interesting (I say as if I don't foam at the mouth over these storylines and attached to Nathans music since childhood because of them)

Actually, I prefer the original; this doesn't quite fit lorewise. The Ganondorf in TOTK doesn't have the triforce, nor does he seek it.
