When I fought X as Zero, I kinda felt sad trying to kill the character I've admired for so long (since I was a little kid, and that's a very long time ago), and the music intensified it and made the situation sadder (the song's sad near and at the last part). This SNES de-make intensifies the nostalgia levels, and it just seems sadder.

If they had X and Zero playable in Smash Ultimate, and had an MMX Level as a Stage (which i still think they’ll have at least Central Highway) then it would be neat that if you did a 1v1 with X & Zero, it would have the X vs. Zero theme and the one that’s not in the P1 position has a Purple aura tint or something to them.
Goddamnit! This is already epic! I love every fucking MMX remix on this channel, no exceptions. The ones with a strong melody are the best ones by far though, and this is definitely one of those.
Finally a remix of X vs Zero that comes close to Breis' one in quality. Your building-up parts are even better, but the choruses like 1:27 are still better in Breis' version. IMO. Still, awesome job!

I have never even got the opportunity to play this game before and I haven't heard the original version of this song as well, only remixes. I do have to say though that this is the best remix of this song that I've heard.
Imagine if Megaman X1 had an alternate scenario to the fight with Vile in the first Sigma stage, where instead you fight Zero, and this would be the battle theme. If you win, he surrenders and gives you his Z-Buster, AND a prototype Z-Sword, which uses the same combination as (and thus replaces) the Hadouken.

Start with X1 on N3DS virtual console or something. You won't have trouble enjoying yourself.
Actually, you'll need a New 3DS to download it. I'd recommend getting it on Wii U Virtual Console or on a SNES emulator.
