Regularly daily mass is celebrated, dear lady of perpetual help novena mass eucharistic adoration, is celebrated every week. There were three foreign priests who were exhausists, saintly priests lived here their tombs are just opposite to the church. And father Paul Arokiyaswamy came in the year 1962 .He lived there upto 1984. Then he went to Tanjore old priests home. For he was given retirement from his Parish works. He was above 70 when he left. He was a saintly priest. In this church I have lived all my youth attending regular masses, everyday evening visit to the blessed sacrament. Because of this church I was able to walk closer with God all my youth, and bcs of my closer walk with God in my very small age, Iam still strong in my faith and fidelity to my Lord. I was born and brought up just opposite to this church. This church was built by my great great grandfather Sinnu udayar.
Earlier ppl used to go far away village to attend Sunday mass and services of important days. Only after this church,ppl used attend daily mass. Not all very few chosen ppl of God used to go regularly everyday. Out of all the children in our family, only me , my eldest brother and a sister of mine three of us used to go regularly everyday for mass.

My uncle ( My mother's younger brother) was a parish priest of this church for 22 years (1962 -1984) . His name was Rev.Fr.Paul Arockiasamy) He was born on 1917 and died in 1994 at Thanjavur. Saintly priest!!!!
My mother is studying in the school1962till1969
This priest gave me baptism, he was very close to my father, my father looked after him as long as he was in our village. He knows French language,he used to converse with my mom in French very fluently. We lost our mom when we were all too small. He used to tell us that our mom was a saintly woman,in Christ Jesus. It's true. He himself is a Saintly priest. He watching me from my childhood days used to tell me I have a great call from God. He gave me a big Bible having both old and new testaments,and he didn't take money instead asked me to pray for him. He left our village when I finished my degree. Exactly when I was twenty years. He loved and respected my dad very much. I was praying for my nunhood praying with the Bible he gave me. The word of God guided me more strongly in Christ Jesus. Iam still living in the same faith in Christ . As long as he was in our village, he lived a prayerful life, everyday mass he used celebrate and guide all the youth in perfect fear of God. Monday specially he used to say mother of perpetual help novena and eucharistic adoration and mass together in the evening from 4-6 , that was a great blessing to all of us. I used to attend all the masses regularly though I have serious exams next day in school. Such a pious man of God. He used to be an elderly old saintly priest,in good cheers and health. God blessed him with good health and safety because of his piety and fainfulness to God. He had lots of problems in the village from poor other religious ppl and from the the political ppl, my father being a great person in ppyur and in Tanjore district, helped him in all his discomforts, ,my dad respected him for he was a good harmless praying saintly priest to all. I Still remember his words " pray for me" . Every mass I attended I offered for his souls we'll being. He is with God..

Some of our relatives took initiative to make the tiles flooring instead of red oxide flooring, it's a huge church. One person's provisions wdnt be sufficient. Tanjore bishops must take initiative to raise funds and must provide along to make the maintaining works. It's has a huge ceiling, huge flooring,high windows walls , rooftop etc.
Daily mass regularly celebrated. Especially Sunday mass importantly
All festivals for st Joseph's feast in the month of May, wd be a grand celebration here. There's a convent attached to this church. Blue Vail sisters are there. School is run under these nuns care. All the hostelers are taken daily to church early in the morning for daily mass regularly everyday.
