  • Not a vlog, no intrusive faces or talking, pure Japan only.
Ogose is a small town in the western part of Saitama prefecture. It's quite famous for rhododendrons.
I walked from the station to the hill with flowers and then back to the station. There was a Spiderman!!! And goats!!!!
Got to the station just in time for the train. Filmed a bit from the train too.
    0:01 Ogose station
    11:23 Huge cicada
    16:43 Rhododendrons
    40:30 Strange place
48:20 Strange place from other side
    49:54 Goats
    52:25 Spiderman
    1:04:03 Train ride
    Map www.google.com...
    Time 4:00pm
    Filmed in UltraHD 4K 60p with Lumix GH5 camera, 8-18 f2.8-4 lens, Beholder EC1 stabilizer and Audio-Technica AT9946CM mic.
Feel free to correct my English or suggest a video to film.

this was so beautiful, it is amazing how even neighborhoods in japan can have such beautiful backyards. would love to visit someday and walk through those steps, the view was breathtaking. covid ruined my trip to Japan and now i have no idea of when i can go.
edit: the only way to see such pretty views in the US would be to go to a national park

We would never have known that strange place if your dear Rambalac had not shown it to us today!!! with these forest trails shot by inch so well filmed, and the beautiful train ride back !!! I honestly would have loved to continue !! ...
Beautiful rhododendrons of the beginning, everything is beautiful here !! ...
The towns with those typical houses, seem to be taken from those old tales! and the kitten who is scared of your appear and flees quickly! and ... it is true I always say it as it is that the government of Japan through its advisers do not have for you a gesture of distinction and honorable mention for this your beautiful channel and the so dedicated attention that you put in each of your videos, this deserves to be valued!!!
You are unique dear Rambalac, as far as teaching the wonders of beautiful Japan !!! Very cordial and grateful greetings from the distant land of Argentina :-)

Ok, I have got to add another comment about the strange place... I guess that the owner does demolition/construction and saved some historical items. Glad to see some old signs, characters and stuff from kiddy play grounds and rides. But look at those tall stone lanterns, wow! And the goats are cute too. Cool that you never know what Rambalac will find.

I suggest a walkabout in Jiyuugaoka.
There is a nice vibe in this town. Apart from area around the station, you can walk toward Okusawa Jinja and further down toward the shotengai AFTER Okusawa station. You can cover much variety of scenes, from the chic hustle & bustle of Jiyuugaoka, pass some residential to nostalgic shotengai of Okusawa. Miss this home :)
