I laughed when you said you thought you might not “be good at” this technique because I don’t think there’s a technique out there you couldn’t nail! I think the soaps are lovely, they have a “paint pouring” art kind of look to them and I really enjoy that sort of aesthetic ❤
I always enjoy listening to you and hearing your commentary, and I love to watch you make soap. Your color choices are fun to see, too. Thank you Lisa for your videos 🌸
Looks like you need 4 hands for this technique! I like the color choices, and the pattern is quite nice. I wasn't sure what to expect, but was very pleasantly surprised with the final effect. Fascinating pour!
@@IDreamInSoap I just showed your latest video to a friend, and she was absolutely blown away by the intricacy and creativity. My aunt tells me her gift package smells amazing, so thanks for making her birthday extra special!
For some reason, they remind me of Dr. Seuss's creations. I don't know if it's the colors, or the ziggedy zaggedy way it's poured, but I actually quite like it!
I love the design and choice of colors. I tried the technique and found it was lots of fun to do. I love all of your amazing creations and even your background music in the videos.
Very pretty, lovely colour choices! Something about them reminds me of shells. Always great to try new things and discover whether they're "keepers" or not. This one, maybe not, but the end result is still lovely and, now you know! 😃 Thanks for sharing!! Love your videos. 😊
Hallo Lisa, i like it, it looks like a nebula patch in the universe. Thank you for the video, and I wish you a happy new year and continued inspiration for your wonderful and unique creations. All the best! 🍀🐞💫
I always enjoy your videos. I actually think they turned out really pretty, but the technique is so tedious that I couldn't blame you for not really wanting to revisit that one. But they are really pretty, so don't fret too much over them. Big fan from Colorado, USA. (P.S. Also married to a Paul)
Dearest Lisa, a happy new year to you! I have never heard you being so unsure about a technique. I actually quite like the outcome, the colours are beautiful, and I love the circles, it is like a modern painting. I still think it is great to give it a go and just say 'nah this is not me'! Thank you so mcuh for a very honest video🙏❤
Thank you so much Mag, I made a rule with myself that as libg as I have the time I will attempt every challenge, because even if I don't really fancy them I always get to learn something
I always love your videos I've commented on many of your videos I love you and how you do your I have to agree it's not one of my favorite soaps of yours I gotta say it reminds me of more Of kind of an earthy kind I look
Thank you so much, I really appreciate you taking the time to leave comments for me, it's so good of you. I do agree with you, it's not my favourite technique
It reminds me of a lot of little tree ring pours from paint pouring. I think the colors are lovely together, but I actually like the sides more than the tops.
The colors are ohh la la!!! Chef's kiss for sure! Absolutely gorgeous but, I'm not a fan of the technique either. I loved watching you attempting different ways to get the desired result tho! Thank you again for your inspirational video, Lisa! God Bless and Happy New Year!!!
Saludos jabonosos
I think they're really pretty, and I'm getting a strong sense that you will never try them again in that particular style. Warning: I'm about to start projecting based on personal experiences with various classes: zero regrets about taking the classes and trying the things, but no temptation to continue to work on those techniques. It's all about ROI: the results were good, and were well worth the time to work with this new technique, but a good part of that was the knowledge that this involved doing something new. I suspect that if you consider using this as an ongoing style of soap design, you're not anticipating anywhere near enough satisfaction in the product or process to justify continued investment of time and effort and resources. (They're still really pretty.)
Thank you so much, I do think it's actually quite tricky for a beginner soaper as you have to be able to keep your trace fluid for a long time, so maybe not ideal
@@IDreamInSoap yes definitely, what I meant was, it good to see how it’s done these techniques are done so one could try at a later date. I’ve only been making soap, but love learning and watching how different soaps are made. The way you explain it makes learning it a bit easier. So thank you! Not sure if I’ll ever do this technique but good to have the know how.
@@IDreamInSoap My most fluid recipe is mostly animal fats… I wouldn’t have known that if I hadn’t been soaping for a couple years already. So, I agree that for a new soaper, this would be a difficult pour.
Yes these are " pretty" but not stunning, which they should be for the time and effort. Wonder if you could do a kiss pour with 2 colors in each jug and get the same effect. Also, the few seconds of the back that I saw, I liked better. Looked like expensive marble.
Ooh yes, I see what you mean about the back and I do agree I think there are other pours that I think give a nicer result. For me, it wasn't so much the pour it was how the little pools of soap then sat on top of each other and distorted

I think it’s an interesting pattern that will continue to reveal new patterns as the soap is used.
Fingers crossed!

I think it's very pretty it has a softness to it. Perhaps darker colors such as black, red and white or gold might give it a more boldness.
Good idea.

Hello Lisa, i like your soap❤. La technique looks like difficult, it needs training but the résultat is beautiful. happy new year 🎉🇨🇵
Thank you so much!
Happy New Year to you too.
😉
think it is beautiful. maybe would have a darker colour for a contrast but love the swirls and feathers
👍😉
I think they came out pretty but I’m with you on the effort. I tend to just pour everything in and let it do its thing. 😂
Thanks so much Sarah, yes they were quite a bit of effort
Happy New Year !!! 🎉
Hey Paty, happy new Year to you too
It is pretty, but not my fave. But you never know if you don't give it a try. Thank you for sharing.

They make me think of watercolour bubbles 🫧 😊

Ficou lindo queria saber que óleos voce usa que a massa fica bem clarinha 🇧🇷

I wonder if it would be easier if you were to use an electric cake turn table or a pottery wheel. I love the colors you selected.
It possibly could - only problem, I don't have those! 😄

Lisa, that soap is absolutely beautiful. I think sometimes, we soap makers are too hard on ourselves.
Thanks.
Thing is, you expect a certain outcome, and it's a slight downer if it doesn't happen!
@@IDreamInSoap very true, but still, it was a beautiful soap.
