This is incredible. Dodging the slash part of his chasing slice is particularly ingenious, I never wouldve thought to try to dodge through it myself; same with the air attacks to counter his sweep. Some very advanced tactics here 👌👍
the air attacks are actually counterproductive since it tends to cancel his followup overhead slam, which lets you deal 2 grounded attacks, which deal far more damage than aerial. but it looks fucking dope so I don't mind
this man is foreal a god at this game. I just started playing not long ago and want to get to the point where I can do stuff like this. everyone has been stuck on some or most bosses at one point. to come back and kill them without them landing a single blow has to be so damn satisfying lol

Owl's downward slash is my favourite attack in the game. If you don't time the dodge PERFECTLY, he will change his swing mid-combo. I wish more bosses had something similar.

Breaking their posture while they're at high health requires constant offense and perfect deflection because the posture bar clears out fast. @@MichaelRigoni similarly if you continuously spam block then it will deflect attacks but will also break your posture. So perfect deflection is the key to keep the posture from breaking!
@@Eiroth Charmless also causes: All enemies deal 25% increased damage, and have 25% increased health and posture. All status build-ups on the player occur 40% faster (aka it will take 4/10ths less status buildup to cause the status). The player gains 25% more Sen and XP. This stacks with Demon Bell, however Demon Bell is a flat added amount of health, posture, and damage to all enemies. So it eventually becomes meaningless on higher NG cycles. Charmless however is all %s, so it becomes more and more dangerous as NG cycle increases.
I was hurt by watching Owl's posture bar regenerating.
Sekiro has the most interactive and satisfying combat mechanics ever. Never felt so involved with a game and its fights.

Most bosses in Soulsborne/Sekiro have attacks like this. They change depending on the angle and distance from the player.
