The way he structures his lyrics on here is Astonishing!! Like he'll say rhymes that rhyme with "ak" then go to ones that rhyme with "or" then a little later go back and complete it all with back to words that rhyme with "ak" also he does the classic 2 and 2 rhyme scheme which is simple but effective because the best music is always the simplest music!
Those who listen best be grateful. This song never lasts long when someone posts it. It’s one of Mac’s many hidden gems so you best take it as a blessing that you get to hear this shit haha

I remember catching on to them when he was alive, left me to ponder on him truly ascending. Then it happened, just like he always would say...
One of my favorite lines is in Ascension. He says “I met God before I even stepped in a church, and that motherfucker still owe me money” referencing the sacrifice, giving money to the church. And then a few lines later says “Lord have Murcielago” again referencing the money the church pulls, being enough to afford a Lamborghini. But it also being a double meaning of “Lord, have Mercy or I’ll go” he was a genius.
