I love that it uses twin propellers, and I love even more that despite living in Australia I was lucky enough in 2017 to visit Manchester museum and see their AVRO Shackleton in person (as I'm a huge aviation fan, and even more appropriately my surname is Shackleton!). Thanks for sharing, what an awesome multi-camera production showing every aspect I'd hoped to see for a run-up. Cheers!
I remember going to see the engine runs back in the day when Peter had TWO Shackletons but one was 'wasted' and now sits forgotten at Bruntingthorpe (who's new owners have closed the gates on any more open days or fast taxi runs!) So thats the end of the Cold war museum! I remember these from my days in the RAF as an aircraft engineer mind you only the MK2's with the tail dragger wheel! Seeing 8 of these take off together was AWESOME. I do miss Peter what a wonderful man with a great vision of this museum!
Thanks for wonderful video, I pray that one day the Mighty Shackleton will fly again, Please kindly donate to the Gatwick Air Museum. If the Lancaster can fly so can a Shackleton. Have peace and love, Timbo Two's.
She must fly again. A couple million pounds should be enough. Chump change in the big scheme of things. Get her into the air. She needs to keep ,on flying.
There no reason this not fly. Check hydraulic , avionic ect is all need. Aircraft die if kept not flying. We sale ex CCCP military Inc turbine heli HIND and MIG 23's, also MIG 21. We fly regular Warbird, keeps aircraft good all working. Just starting engine no much good. Greeting from Russia, Girood Airfield Hangers.. ♥️

Sounds good! But will she ever fly again?
Was that steam I saw issuing from #s 1 and 4 on shut down?
Interesting - fuel capacity is in gallons (Imperial) & not liters (metric)...?
PS exp gages & meters ??! ,+++ were was Flight- engineers @ Nayday crash- landing ,++ Can Dackeltons substitute Shackes,@ vs jet engine mods 😁,et- mods @ mach 3 vs Blackbird ?!
Looks like a Buccaneer off the Shackleton's port wing... do you run the engines on that also?
Not a fire extinguisher or a fire truck in sight. Not the SOP for the RAF.
Only missing Ground- controls Go ahead & Piping !@ full operation !!!
Bambo on a Milk-run !?
