Step 1: Grill the food. Step 2: Eat it. Got it! So glad I don't have to worry about cook times, seasonings, temperatures, or oiling the grates before grilling!

You had no explanation as to where you placed the veggies or burger nor to how much time u took to flip either or. It was very helpful in the sense that you need controlled temperatures however the details were lacking. It would be nice if you could explain more because the pattys you cooked looked amazing. Remember, ur audience are beginners, they neither know nor heard the terms you use. But i would truly appreciate it if you'd post another video with in depth illustrations of the type of meat, grilling time, heat temp (low, medium, high, medium-low etc) and definitely, the type of seasonings you use

  • @Mollybad
    @Mollybad ปีที่แล้ว +16

When and why do you lift the hood? Keep it open? What temp do you start meats? What temp do you start veggies? When do you flip burgers or steaks? Do you turn the temperature down during grilling? If not, what is the purpose of medium or low heat? When do you add the buns if you want to toast them? Or, add cheese? These are grilling basics I want to know.

As a longtime Traeger+ user, I recently made the switch to Asmoke and can confidently say it has drastically improved my grilling experience. The flavor enhancement from Asmoke's wood pellets is simply unmatched. I also love the precision temperature control which Traeger+ doesn't offer. It's made a noticeable difference in the consistency of my grills. The versatility of Asmoke is another big plus. I can grill, smoke, roast, and bake with it, giving me more cooking options with just one appliance. Lastly, the portability due to its battery power is a game changer for my camping trips. I can grill anywhere without needing to connect to the grid. Switching to Asmoke has undoubtedly changed the way I grill for the better. #Asmoke

Totally worthless. Do I clean the grill before grilling? How do I clean it after? How long do I leave meat on? How do I care for the grill? Thanks for showing me the two most obvious parts, that I turn the grill on and that I put food on it.

Tasty has a much better video on grilling. There weren't a lot of cook times, but they did go over cleaning the grill and caring for it. Also a great idea to have a cover, especially if you have it exposed to the elements on your porch or back yard.

If you’re gonna be picky like that, you should not be using cooking times period. The finish temperature of most meats are vastly available online. If you meant *grill* temps, that depends how much sear you want. You can blaze a steak at 600 for 45sec to get a nice crust, then finish on lower heat to desired doneness. If you’re upset there’s no guide for grilling vegetables, fuck off

@@jasondeblou6226 People don't want to under- or overcook them. People don't want to waste food/the money the food represents, or the occasion, by cooking them improperly. Obviously to get good at something requires actual experimentation, not just listening to people describe how to do things, but guidelines are very useful for inspiring confidence or avoiding common mistakes that might be made without them.

Q1, Is weight important for burgers, like should they all be about the same size and thickness?
    Q2, Preheat or not?
Q3, If preheating is desired, at what temperature?
Q3.2, Should the grates be coated with oil and if so what kind?
Q3.9, what about making a small indentation in each burger to allow it to cook evenly? I see you had done that.
Q4, How long on each side should you cook the burgers?
Q4.5, Should you use your spatula to press down on the burgers to removes all those pesky juices?
Q5, If this is for "How to Grill for Beginners : Grilling & Cooking" why is there very very little instruction in this instruction video?

Literally taught me nothing about grilling. What’s the ideal temperature for major items (chicken steak veggie). When to move them off the hotter heat and how long should it stay on indirect. When do you close the lid/not? What difference does it make?
How about the best degree of which to rotate the food for ideal grill marks? Seasoning the grill? Correct steps to cleaning it properly. I mean the list goes on and on all the main information that could’ve / should’ve been addressed.
Everyone knows to turn it on and toss some lubed food on. The hard part is figuring out exactly how it heats the food on diff parts of the grill. Need more on before and after.
Personally I notice the back side of my gas grill for all burners doesn’t cook food as hot/effectively as the same exact burner does towards the front regardless of what it’s set to. There’s an opening in the back so I’m assuming that’s why.

  • @whiteraven886

Ok, be fair. Preheat the grill. He said where he likes to set the heat by adjusting the burners. Use long tools. So yes, just a mention of cooktimes would have been helpful.

I hate to agree with some of the critics, but this was pretty much click bate, I think.
