    When I have traveled internationally, I have had a carabineer clipped to my backpack - sometimes with a key attached, sometimes not. The carabineer is sufficiently large to get 4 fingers in it with the inner part supported by the palm. I have never been stopped by any airport screening in any country.

      @@hattydafatty151 Not so. If the carabineer is large enough, as I have said the inner part is supported by the palm of the hand keeping the outer side well away from the fingers. I have tested this against a heavy bag, and it works. But I have never hit a watermelon.

    Update, I did comment previously with my original opinion. However after talking to some more knowledgeable and experienced people. I have changed my opinion of the "Legal Brass Knuckle". In summary, it is definitely a good piece and the main strength here is conceivability. The key is to practice throwing punches with it and get used to wearing it. Proper punching technique is important, but together with the "Legal Knuckle Duster", it is effective.

    Hey my friend, myself being a Law Enforcement Officer, if I came across someone carrying that I might ask the person about it but I myself would not consider it as being a weapon. I really don't think anyone could get in trouble or arrested for carrying it. I myself wouldn't arrest anyone and charge them with a weapons crime. In fact until I saw this video I didn't even know what it was. Now I do! lol! If someone told me it was a good luck charm, that would be good enough for me. That's just me, I am not speaking for other officers out there. Personally I don't see anybody having any problem carrying one! Kind of like the Kuboton back in the day, put it on a key ring and it was part of a key ring and not a weapon. I myself would like to have one of those! Really a unique decoration! Enjoyed the video! Take Care!

    A carabiner is a good option if you travel internationally, just put it on your keychain and no one will be the wiser. I have been in multiple airports in the states, as well as customs in Canada and Mexico, and no one ever looked at it twice.
    As soon as I got thru the checkpoint, I took it off my keys at the nearest bathroom, and the carabiner went in my right pocket all by itself.

    I recently bought a few (different materials and sizes) and I have tested a few, and this is my honest opinion of them.
    Pros: They do work and they are easy to carry as a back up.
    Cons:
    1) Not as effective as a traditional knuckle duster.
    2) Make sure you get one the right size, if it is not the right size, it won't brace against your palm correctly and won't work.
    3) This is not something I would pick as my first choice for self defense, but considering how small and easy it is to carry, it is a really good back up piece.

    What ever happened to the 2 Amendment. You can carry knives and guns but having Brass Knuckles is a big no no? I live in VA and they are pretty lenient about them but even still ITS A PIECE OF METAL and it will most likely end a fight before it even starts.

    I would highly recommend punching some stuff with that to see how it works. If you have a weapon it is best to know how it works and such. My experience with brass knuckles is that I would rather get a good punch in with a fist than have a pair and if i was going to use something like them I would rather use a hammer you have a longer reach with them and they work better.

    Can brass knuckles dull? I use my brass knuckles on my punching bag or on random object and i notice paint being scratched off. Do brass knuckles become less effective after each use or over time?

    • @GunCollector007
      @GunCollector007  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      J H They might not be solid brass if something is chipping off. If they are solid they actually get shiny by hitting a punching bag.

    • @misterseven5525
      @misterseven5525 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      If it’s really solid brass it shouldn’t chip at all. Did you buy it from China? If it’s not solid brass I’d bet it’s brass colored cast zinc/alum alloy. You could always try painting it. That might help.
